We have found Doogan alive and surprisingly well. He's tired and his feet are sore so we are at the vets as a precaution but sure he will be ok. He had stayed local was found in woodland about 2 miles away. Someone spotted him at 8 pm last night crying outside her remote farm house, and had seen a poster earlier. We've combed the area and found him as soon as it was light. Thank you dogs lost for your advice and to everyone who shared his missing poster and to those who printed off posters and went out to put them up a huge thank you. X

Might help to send notification to people in Ta24 Minehead area. It's a long way for him to try and travel though!

Thank you, we have lots of help today. As well as local area being postered we will have covered the 30 miles between here and his home today,. Lots of people sharing too. Thank you to everyone x

Doogan did a typical Whippet thing and jumped out of the garden whilst being looked after at a friends house, so he may be trying to get home.

We need a sighting....

Has the owner contacted K9 Search Dogs yet, would be good to get them looking sooner rather than later. Or could K9 contact them in case owner doesn't look on the thread?

Hello, yes he is a minehead area dog, but I don't think he has a scar down his hip - it is not the dog in the link below, thank you for looking, now that a photo is added hopefully it will help.

ADMIN - please help - we want to start postering today but the details entered above are incorrect - the mobile number for the poster should be 07786 072 896 - can you please change it? I have contacted the kind person that set up the account while we were out looking also.

No sign of him over night, we left the door open and the light on. Please please please Doogan come back, where are you? Thank goodness it is warm and dry, he must be stuck or sure he would have come back by now.
