- Fabulous news!....thank goodness Princess is home safe.....sounds like she was made too hot to handle ;) ....keep your precious girl very close....sadly there are those who are less honest and don't realise theft by finding can be a criminal offence ....still the most important moment is Princess being home with those who love her...welcome home Princess ....such a smiley face :)) xx

- Overjoyed to hear Princess is home where she belongs .
Comments from Princess's overjoyed owner .................
"Its very suspicious : Earlier today my wife gets a call from a guy who sounded like he was in his 50s+. He said he had found her yesterday in the Malvern Road area wandering around while he was out walking his dog. She didn't look like she had anyone with her so he took her home and she settled straight away and cuddled up to his other dog. He had to work today (as a builder) so left her at home. While at work he apparently mentioned the dog and someone mentioned they had seen on FB a dog was missing in the area. He doesn't "do Facebook" so someone gave him the number from the poster and he phoned my wife. She offered to head over to him to see if it was Princess, he said that he had to drop his daughters off to a party in Charminster anyway so he would bring the dog over. If it wasn't ours he said we could take her with him to a nearby vets and have her scanned. My wife speaks to him a short while later and says to him she is on her way to our house (about 10 mins away) and he said he was already there in his car and was happy to wait for her. She told him that our daughter was home with our granddaughter if he wanted to take her to the door as they would know if it was Princess or not. Within a minute a young guy turned up in a taxi, had brought Princess to the door seen that she leaped from his arms to our front door and she knew where she was. He said she had been barking all night until they put her on their bed (She sleeps on our bed or my sons bed every night). Different story, different guy, different car. Nothing adds up. Still we got her back. My daughter has a photo of him (im not sure how clear though) and we will inform the police. Looks like we have to be vigilant more than ever now. Once again thankyou so much for all the help, advice, comforting words and morale boosting that this group has provided. It goes to show that making a dog too hot to handle in a local area can make the difference." - 2014-07-08 17:17 Happiness yorkie lover xxx

- Hoping now the weekend is over that you have good news of Princess and that someone has been taking care of her and will take her to the vets or call the warden.
Poster well today, and call the chip company to put them on alert as I gather they have been un contactable over the weekend. Call the wardens again to check your weekend messages have got through and contact all local vets. Perhaps local radio may help get an appeal out too

- Use the link on this page in the initial Admin comments to find all the local vets for the area but be sure also to contact Emergency Vet Care in Poole as they take in strays/found dogs for Bournemouth over the weekends. Their tel number is 01202 382 843
Postering is vital .... Get plenty of posters out in the neighbourhood and near shops, pubs and schools etc - 2014-07-06 10:02 Sherlock- Area Co-ordinator & Police Liaison - Avon & South Gloucestersh

This is our pug Princess that my son posted about yesterday when she disappeared presumed stolen. We are frantic with worry for her and ask again if anyone has any information to please get in touch. She snuck out under the gate yesterday about 3.30pm but she is not the type to wander far she likes her home comforts too much. She went missing from Richmond Park Road in Bournemouth near to queens park, boscombe, springbourne and Charminster. She is chipped but has no collar. She is spayed too after an operation when she was younger which she still has a scar on her belly. Please help if you can, thanks
