Have had flaky wifi and only just seen that Gremlin is found! Absolutely delighted. It is so good to know that you guys are all 'out there' and that we are all ready to help each other like this. Smiles are round!
Cassie
I've taken down the posters around the north side of Sutton Heath. Now I see there is a Lurched gone missing on the heath...
Cassie
Brilliant news. Thank goodness!!
Lorraine
That is excellent news I am so pleased that gremmie has made it home safe and sound, my dog must have thought id gone mad calling her name whilst we were out walking everyday, it really is a happy ending.

Sara
Very pleased to report that she's been found by her owners, close to where she was lost. A little skinny but none the worse for wear by the sound of it!
Sara
No probs Cassie - I'll put posters in both car parks she's familiar with and on posts round where she went missing.
Realistically though - how far could she have gone by now?
Cassie
Searched area again this morning. Took a mini wire haired Daxie with me to help search. She ended up getting lost in the tall dense bracken. Found her again after about 15 minutes, Blimey. Just shows how easy it is for a small dog to get lost there at the moment. There aren't any posters up, so if you could please put some around Sara, I'm sure it will help. Spreading the word to all walkers I meet. We can only hope that someone has picked her up and taken her home.
Sara
So sorry to hear that Gremlin is still missing - I did quite a few loops looking for her shortly after she went missing, then drove around to the car park to see if I could help further, couldn't find anybody so assumed all was well. I even checked in here later, but must have been too quick for her to have been registered.
From speaking to the owner, Gremlin was initially spooked by a playful dog, then this was compounded by an ill-timed helicopter overhead - so she might run away from any other exuberant dogs who are out searching?
She went missing from an area near the ploughed field - from the north edge of the small compound with the mound there is a wide path running NorthWest-SouthWast under power lines - she was last seen at the compound-end of that path (in the middle of this map view https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@52.0796566,1.376731,209m/data=!3m1!1e3 )

I'll do a few more loops later today - are there any posters up? If not I can print off a few.
Cassie
Walked through the area Gremlin went missing and did a large loop. Sadly no sightings. I saw several other dog walkers and asked them to keep an eye out for her. The owner has reported Gremlin to the police, Radio Suffolk and the dog warden. I've emailed Pampered Pets as no reply on phone. I'll also email local vets and RSPCA.

Tweeted appeal for searchers in area to help x

I have just spoke not o Gremlin's owner. She is understandably very upset and prevented by temporary lack of transport from getting out there to look for her. If you are in the area, please go and have a look. She must be so scared . Crossed fingers for her and her owner. Xx

Stay safe little girl UNTILL you are found xxx
Cassie
OH walked round field this morning and in that area, but no sightings. He didn't know there was a missing dog at the time, but would instinctively have caught a lost dog (if he could!). He's now on his way back with one of our dogs to search...
Lorraine
We have been in the woods for over an hour, we did meet the owner of Gremlin who told us that they call her Gremmie she doesnt always come back to recall but knows her name, she was spooked by a low flying helicopter and ran off, they visit the area fairly often and park in either car park, she was last seen at 7 last night and I think she was near to the ploughed field but I am not 100% about it.
Lorraine
I will be out very soon in the woodland area of Sutton Heath, we will search high and low for your little girl, good luck x
