Yes she was neutered by cats protection league before we adopted her from them,18 months ago. She has always been very much a home cat always around the house and grounds, usually wherever we are summer is. We lock our cat flap at night so the cats aren't out during the night. She has never wandered before but I guess that's what everyone who has lost their cat says. Still holding on to the hope that she will find someone who will think to have her scanned for a chip, and we will be reunited, or that if someone has decided to adopt her that they'll realise how much we are missing her and return her. We are still offering a five hundred pound reward for information leading to her safe return.Last edited: 2014-07-27 22:45:38 by jamie

Is Summer spayed? As experts reckon they tend not to wander too far from home. I have two spayed female cats of my own. Hope Summer is home soon.

had a lady phone today after seeing advert in paper to say she's sure she saw summer yesterday sitting on a garage roof, backing onto Thatcher road in staplehurst.she described her as looking like a blue point Siamese but with stripey legs. This would be about five miles from my house but in completely the opposite direction from the last possible sighting, last weekend.
I will be heading over to poster the area tomorrow as I have not had any further sightings in hawkhurst area.you never know it could be her, a month today since she went missing so I'm hoping for some good news soon.

Looks like someone has taken her in, and is feeding her. You have been sighted, Summer, now get reunited.

Thanks that's a great idea, I'll head over there tomorrow.
I have had two possible sightings of her the last in heartenoak road hawkhurst, near the fire station, today, although by the time I got there the cat had disappeared. It was said that the cat had no collar and looked skinnier than my picture( wouldn't be a huge surprise as she's been missing over three weeks). I returned and spoke to some local houses and put up a poster, I will get some more posters printed and leaflet the area on Monday. Fingers crossed it might be her.

There is a boot fair at Sissinghurst Cricket ground tomorrow Sunday might we worth some posters there.Good luck finding her x

Hi,thanks you very much for taking the time to comment and for your suggestions, summer is neutered. We have put out a blanket from her bed as you suggested. Her missing advert was on the front page of the local paper which came out today, I'm hoping for a call from someone to say they may have seen her, fingers crossed we will find her soon.

We are desperate to find our beautiful cat summer, she has never wandered before. We are worried she may have been picked up by someone, she is extremely friendly and affectionate. We have contacted every vet and rescue centre locally and further afield, have put posters up and leaflets through doors. We have a large advert in the local paper this week. We just hope that being so distinguishable someone will know where she is and reunite us. My four year old is crying herself to sleep every night and I have no idea what else to do.
