I don't know if this is of any help, but I saw a dog of this description a week ago in Uxbridge Town Centre. A woman was standing near Tesco's, talking to a man of Asian appearance. The man disappeared for a few minutes and returned with a Golden Retriever puppy, but not a small pup. If I had to guess, I'd say about 4 months old. I wonder if it would be any use asking the Security Officers if they have CCTV camera footage for last Thursday, 16th, around 11.30am -12pm. This took place near Tesco's, but by the doors leading into the Pavilions Shopping Centre.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

You might already have checked this but just a long shot, there is a GOLDEN RETRIEVER puppy 9 weeks approx on this site dated 5 oct 06, found westend shouthampton, south east on 3rd oct 06, S030, possibly dumped. Thought it was worth a try as people have refered to my lab as a golden retriever. And possible new owner drives down south.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Please stress when contacting the vets in the area that she is already microchipped. Most vets would not scan a new pup to check to see if it already has a tracer. All the very best. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Thanks for all your help every one. It is very much appreciated by Mrs Wiles who of course is absolutely devastated. As I keep telling her she has everyone on this site and all our Labrador friends helping her. Fingers crossed. Alison xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

The owner visited the pub again last night and there were totally different people in there, slightly older as well. They all confirmed that she is definately in Birmingham but alot of people seem to know the family and we were told that they tend to drive back and forward from down South to Birmingham. We have Labrador friends in the area who have connection which hopefully will help. As time goes on I am fearing more and more for Della.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I have been informed by the owner that she has received information that Della is believed to be in the Birmingham area. More than liker a hoax to take us off track but the owner is currently scanning the local area. Finger crossed.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Updated poster has been e mailed to all local helpers. Della's brother Crusty was in the Inn on the green with new owner who had just bought him when owner came in to poster-It appears Della was sold on earlier in the same pub by 2 scruffy lads-police have them on CCTV. It appears other puppies in Harefield were also stolen on the same day-awaiting more details. Please look out!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
