I managed to speak to Jet's owner yesterday about the girl I found in Leeds. Sadly she is definitely not Jet (different markings). Really hope Jet comes home soon.

Hi there janetf, I am on the same mission as yourself obviously :-) Best thing as you say is to ring owner tomorrow. If we had an exact age for this one we would have put it up.

Really not sure - will ring the owner's number in the morning. The little girl here seems like an older puppy rather than a fully mature bitch and I think the white is on a different front foot but it is difficult to tell what is marking and what is shadow in the picture. She also has a little spot of pink pigment on her nose - I don't think it is from a scab so that would distinguish her.

Just seen the poster picture - it could well be her! I am going to check her paws and chest again to see if the markings are the same. Does Jet have white on her tail at all? How old is Jet?

Does anyone know if Jet has been found or if there are any more details about her or a photo? I have just found a lurcher in North Leeds - she is small (about 20-22 inches possibly), smooth coated, black with a few white markings. She was on the ring road in North Leeds at rush hour. No id. It is a long way from home but might she be Jet?
