.Cook some chicken or fish, as the smell may tempt him back He may be local, and being fed by somneone else. Usually neutered/spayed cats dont tend to roam too far from home. Put sardines in his food bowl, and call him whilst tapping it. Put something with his scent on, along with something of yours with your scent on, place in a clean container, and if dry leave in the garden. Cats rely very much on smell. Try not to leave your pets on their own during fireworks.

Create a safe and secure "bunker" in a familiar place at home.
