I had a phone call to say that there is an elderly golden retriever in Hereford and Worcester Rescue, who matches rons description possibly, i have passed the information to Owl.

Just to let everyone know the dog on nantycorn website is not Ron, this dog was claimed the same day as he went into the pound

Cynthia, thanks for your phone call tonight regarding the post by mollypolly, I have spoken to rons owner, and she is going to have a look on the website, the dog at conwy looks a little bit darker than ron, but the photo of ron was taken in the sunlight, so best the owner has a look just to make certain, thanks again BC

Hi I have just been looking on www.nantycorn.com and there is a pic of a dog similar to this on there. I think it is the Conwy dogs found by the warden site the dog is wearing a love heart disc

The council have just called me back to say that the lady said the dog has been claimed by the owner. The only problem being is that we are unable to verify this!!!

The council will not give the phone number of the finder because of the data protection, so have to wait now for the council to get her to ring me

Golden retriever found on 31.10.06 on list of strays from council, in llanelli, the dog has not been handed in to the pound, and there isnt a contact no on the list, so will ring the council monday

Rons owner, i telephoned the other evening and spoke to your husband for quite a long time, if you want a hand with postering etc, please give me a call, Cheryl at Tyagored asks about Ron whenever i ring there, everyones still thinking about him, hope hes found soon. If you let me know what newspapers youve had ron in, ill try the others and see if theyd do an editorial on him, give me a call when youve got a minute.

this is Ron's owner Amber, we still have no news on Ronnie's where abouts. we are missing him so much and it hasn't been the same since he's gone. i really hope we find him soon.

Ever so pleased to hear there have been sightings. Might drive down there with the dogs and have a prowl round myself as I know the Brechfa area quite well.

Spoken to nicky, rons owner today, they have had some sightings and have been out looking yesterday and today, rons has also been put on radio carmarthen, lets hope this boy is found soon xxx

Please ask Ron's owner to make sure he has postered the farmers' co-op store at Nantgaredig, the garages at Whitemills and at Peniel and all the pubs, not only in Brechfa and Felingwm but also Cothi valley as Ron could have gone there over the hills via the fields.

Just spoken to the owner Ron has disappeared off the face of the earth, he went walkabout with his collie friend, the collie has returned home but not Ron, the owner has postered in the area and surrounding areas today, so hopefully this will bring some leads. On the identity disc the name printed is Ronnie, with the mobile number. Owner can be contacted on 01267-202314 or mobile 07789526709, if unable to contact on these number please ring BC on 01545-560885.
