Just to round off Ollies page, feel quite emotional to receive flowers and a bottle of wine from Jamie, the carer. It really was a team effort, and was really due to poster power, but he felt without Doglost guidance he wouldn't have known what to do and panicked. So really it's thanks to Jayne the founder of Doglost.

Fabulous news, it shows that the posters and spreading the word works and also that he was found not that far away from where he was lost.

Got him!! So pleased to move Ollie into Reunited. The carer just received a call from a farmer at nearby village of Cotes-d-val that he was there. apparently farm dogs were barking a lot last night.
I have just had the pleasure of getting him out of the car and taking him into his home.
He is dirty, skinny but otherwise ok and wondering what the fuss is all about

Been out searching again early but forced to turn back due to the heat
My husband is out searching now with other people and a terrier concentrating on the ditch he disappeared into although this has been thoroughly searched before with one of the young men crawling along it in the undergrowth to make sure he isn't stuck there
I am replacing the posters in the village that had been ruined during last nights storm.
If he is not found today the young men are going out again just before dusk and will take the DogLost NightSpy binocular with them.

We love ollie... He is deaf on his right ear and leans his head to the right because of an on going ear infection, his right ear is shaved short from his operation to have his middle ear removed... We have had him for 9 years and it won't be right returning from holiday without him there, keep strong Ol we will find you, and keep strong Paddy we will find your bestie. He is chipped. I would be concerned that your boy might be caught up on something or has injured himself especially as the other dog came back alone.
My suggestion is that you need to search initially within a quarter mile radius of where he was last seen looking along fence lines, deep muddy ditches etc

Been out searching this morning with my own dogs, he knows them as he is my neighbours dog, but nothing. Spreading the word around the village and neighbouring farms. Will poster too
Carer is following all advice thoroughly, chip company notified

Ollie has gone missing out on a walk yesterday evening.
This is totally out of character for him. Both dogs ran but only the younger one came back.
I have been in contact since yesterday giving advice to the carer of the dogs, their owners are away on holiday
