- Texted owner for an update:
She's fine, it was a family from up Chorley Old Road, he said he opened his back door and she just went in, so he put her on Bolton Buy Sell or Swap. Owner then went to collect her and she is now back to herself :)
Welcome home pretty Poppy xx - 2014-07-20 13:24 Unknown

- Hi someone has commented on the original post from the owner on Bolton Buy Sell and Swap that they think they have found this bird. I have sent a txt to the number listed above

- We had an African Grey and he escaped a couple of times but never went far away. The snag you have is the interaction with other birds as Dido was dive bombed by the local bird population on both occasions which is how we found him. Put her cage out in the garden if you can. - Make sure you report Poopy on the lost section of http://www.parrot-link.co.uk/ they are very helpful and will give you good advice. I have 2 African Greys and know just how devastated you must be losing your beautiful girl.

- I believe that Parrots are good fliers, and can fly quite far so who knows Baydogs. Presume you have left her cage in the garden with her favourite food, and toys? Good luck. Hope Poppy comes home soon.

- An african grey landed in someone's garden yesterday. That was Bulwell, Nottingham. Too far? It is on Lostbox (facebook)
Apologies if this is ridiculous, I don't have much knowledge of parrots.
But here is the link-
