- RSPCA phoned back and said the jaw is to severely broken both sides at the back so they will not release him. He has very bad teeth and poor bone density in the jaws and they cannot do anything for him unless the owner turns up and agrees to a orthodontic specialist to give an opinion and if possible treatment which could be in the £1000s.They will keep him on pain killers and are feeding him soup but the outcome does not look good, his age of about 10 years is not helping. Feel so helpless.

- We have just spoken to the Putney RSPCA and they are taking a x-ray today. Depending on what they find they will make the decision either to treat or PTS. We have offered, if the jaw is not to badly broken ie several breaks, to take the dog to our vets and care for him so the RSPCA do not have to spend time looking after him before they can rehome ( read between the lines ) Awaiting their phone call with decision.

- Do we know how this little one is getting on. We have had two rescue Yorkies with broken jaws and with a lot of TLC they are now as normal, just concerned for him.
