- Well done Christine. I did email the owner as soon as I saw the ad but have not had a response. You just can't pass on pups "free to a good home" just because their not convenient anymore. I still think the circumstances seem a bit odd. There's no photo on the ad, doesn't say what sex or type of spaniel they are. If they were working cockers I'd consider them myself. How will we be able to keep up with what's happening to them?

- Not good offering "free to good home" - I've left a message with this rescue to see if they can take the pups in. They're in Bawtry, Nr Doncaster

- Have a look at this ad. It says they have 2 cocker pups. Seems a bit odd to buy 2 pups then suddenly decide to emigrate! It doesn't say wether working or show type. http://www.freeads.co.uk/uk/freestuff/buy__sell/pets/dogs/cocker_spaniel/26529413/free-too-a-good-home-must-have-kids/view?c=qO%2Bqg7uo1%2FWCDacuIL4vKE3T6YSut4%2Fj0am4JRIM5vZyumREaKCuAHc7VSob5tXidts4Vj6OC86FtEvk4CK9hw%3D%3D#.U9X7lCgx_0c
