- Directly from FB today "Just to give you lovely caring people out there know a weekly update, we're doing exceptionally well we are eating good Nutritious food regularly now and are putting on the required body mass we so desperately needed, Ben obviously not doing as well as Bill but we're both getting there slowly. Still not allowed out of Quarantined area due to our severe skin condition but hopefully not too long as all this Special Super Expert Treatment that we're getting here @ Croft Rescue Kennels is just fantastic"
End of quote
Hopeful we will get updated pictures soon. - 2014-07-31 01:56 Teddys Mum - Area Volunteer, West London

- Update from Bill and Ben
"Just to keep you all that care up to date on our Progress.
We're not allowed to have visitors at the moment or have our pictures taken. But its going to take a little bit of time as we was so bad but we're on the mend day by day. Our biggest issue at the moment is being in isolation for our very contagious condition, but at least we're starting to look n feel better every day. And we have to stay in here until the vet gives us the all clear. Then we can think of a new home or at least having some of the other kennel inmates to be with till we are allowed out.
Thanks for all the kindness and well wishes from all the kind people on here.
Thank You B&B"

- Words fail me other than ones that would certainly put me in moderation! Just so relieved to know that these 2 lovely dogs will now receive the care, compassion, respect and be shown love which any dog deserves for their loyalty that they show us xx
- 2014-07-26 08:28 duffs54
- like others have said, why aren't the owners found for these poor dogs, just too many are being abandoned in such distressing states, so so sad, thank god they were found in time like the lovely Grace I hope they make a full recovery xxx
- 2014-07-25 08:41 Esther
- Niksta, there are some people in this world who disgust me beyond words and I so agree with janiejewel. However at the other end of the scale so many of the dog lost followers go so far out of their way and put enormous effort and care into helping dogs and owners. There are good people in the world. Let us hope these two abused dogs recover as well as Grace and find a loving home as she hasLast edited: 2014-07-25 08:44:54 by Esther

- Oh these two poor boys - how cruel and heartless some 'people' can be. Am so pleased they are safe, and hope they can find their new forever home once they are restored to full health xxx
- 2014-07-24 19:09 Unknown
- I agree with all the comments too. If it was up to me there would be one very emaciated so called owner. At least they are in safe hands now.
- 2014-07-24 15:50 alikat
- I have shared this on Facebook, with anger! The scum that treat defenceless animals in this way deserve to receive the same treatment themselves.
- 2014-07-24 15:29 Niksta32
- Sadly my faith in our human race has fallen drastically....there is no justification for the way these two poor babies have been treated I hope the scum are found and go to prison for this!!It astounds me people think this kind of treatment is ok.May the future be what these beautiful animals truly deserve xxx and as for the people that done this I hope u rot in hell u scum bags!!!

- Dreadful, poor little mites. Words fail me too. So pleased they are now safe. 3/4 weeks of good feeding and they will look and feel totally different. Good luck to you both, may you find the loving owners that you deserve.
- 2014-07-23 23:55 Esther
- Words fail me. Thank God that they have been found and have rescue spaces.
- 2014-07-23 20:51 fionap58
- I have 4 rescue lurchers and to see these lovely dogs abused so horribly makes me want to cry and also punch someone. When will people get the message, if you haven't got sufficient time, money, inclination or interest to feed your animals then don't bloody get them in the first place!!!!! Would love to get the owner by the scruff and ask him why!
- 2014-07-23 20:31 Millypod (Chris) - Administrative Volunteer
- Having just been looking on Grace's page and seeing her before and after photo's I hope Bill and Ben are as lucky. Wishing them both a speedy recovery.
Someone must know who these two dogs belonged to. They need to come forward and give names so the scum bags are bought to justice. - 2014-07-23 19:53 Laura
- Oh my goodness me, these poor poor babies. Shocked to the core of how cruel somebody could be!! Hope they recover well and the scumbag is punished and found x
- 2014-07-23 19:50 Bo
- Update;
Bill & Ben are both in good hands @ the Croft Rescue Kennels and are in quarantine for their conditions. The Vet has seen them and says there's a good chance of recovery and Nia the Rescue Manager who picked them up says that they will remain with them for the initial first 7 days as is required and then stay with her for their care until a suitable rehoming home can be found.
Hounds First Sighthound Rescue have also spoken to the kennels and offered rescue space if required.

- OMG I totally agree with everything missalice has said. I too watched Grace today on TV and she's absolutely beautiful. When she was in the state she was found you wouldn't believe that she was a beautiful black dog with fawn brows. Shared on facebook xx

- My God when is this going to stop???? Earlier today I watched the Animal SOS programme Episode 7 about Grace, the Saluki, found in a similar condition. I thought it was one of the worst cases of neglect I'd seen but I was wrong! For one dog to be mis-treated like this is appalling enough BUT 2? What is wrong with people? I can only assume they are callous, evil, vindictive, cruel, heartless people. Oh, and definitely desperately lacking in brain cells! What person with an ounce of intelligence would do something like this? Another poor bitch in a similar situation is the collie cross found tied up (posted on this website). Someone somewhere must have known about the suffering of all of these dogs long before they got to this stage. Why oh why won't people speak up? What the hell are they afraid of? They are as guilty as the owners in my opinion.
- 2014-07-23 17:36 Spindle
- Photos like this make me so so angry. How can people be so cruel. Glad they are safe now.

- 2014-07-23 17:20 Jo
- Poor, poor boys. I am so glad they are in safe hands now. I hope the scumbags who dumped them are caught, what is wrong with people????!!
- 2014-07-23 17:19 Bo
- The chap who found them said the DW was taking them to the vets and then they would do their 7 days before going into rescue. I spoke to a very nice lady at the council who asked me to ring back in the morning to see how they are. I will update if I have some extra information tomorrow. They have a lot of support on Facebook from the friends of the chap who found them so I'm sure that their progress will be closely monitored.

- From a cross post
"PLEASE PLEASE can anyone who sees this posting with a heart and care for some justice for these two young lads.
Repost /Share it with Public status.
These pair of lovely Boys have been found in the lane above us on tip of Munydd Baiden. If it was bad enough to Starve and neglect their well being. They just abandoned them in the middle of nowhere.
As you can see Skin n Bone and riddled with Fleas and covered with Mange cuts and welts and bed sores with Loss of hair and overgrown Toe nails.
A very pitiful sight. Well at least their on good care now and hopefully will recover if not to late. They was very friendly and welcoming attention that was on offer trying to be very affectionate and trusting despite their previos neglect and bad treatment.
PLEASE PLEASE can anyone who sees this posting with a heart and care for some justice for these two young lads.

Thanks.
Now with DW - I rang but no one in yet so will rung back in the morning.
