Possibly worth a look on DogAidSociety website. Dog for rehoming called Toby looks a little similar.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Oscar the Dachshund and I are still on the lookout. We regularly walk at the "dams" and Marty's poster is still there. We also go to Barrhead and Neilston to look. I hope you have tried the local police stations. The offices at Giffnock, Pollok and Barrhead are the most likely. Ask them to check their found dog book, each police station has one but they do not have a central database, so you will need to visit each one. Also, all these offices have a Lost Dog book, you can leave your details with the police in case Marty is handed in. Keep looking and don't give up hope.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I suppose you have already tried the SSPCA in Milton and Dumbarton? Its just that I was in there a couple of days ago and they had a collie just like yours. Don't want to raise hopes, but you need to visit in person at least once a week, not just on the phone, thats the mistake we made! Also, give a picture to the kennel maids aswell as the reception, coz they are more likely to recognise your boy. Have you also contacted the Dogs Trust in West Calder, they are fab and keep in touch constantly. I know they are far from you, but worth a try? Also try the SSPCA in Bothwell and Dog Rescue in Ayr. I can PM you numbers if you have trouble finding them. Good Luck and anything I can do let me know. I am in Lanarkshire, but can still help a bit!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
