- Are there any CCTV's in the area? Try to contact them and give them a poster. Local Council may have info on some. Others around pubs, shops, business premises, yards etc.

- Could I suggest you contact the Fox Project at Tunbridge Wells. The people there are top experts on foxes and their behaviour. Phone number is 01892 824111. They take in wounded and orphaned foxes. Wonderful people.

- I picked my Lurcher (many years ago) who had been living with the foxes for some considerable time (approx. 2 years!) Foxes do cover a 50 mile radius at times but I'm guessing this little one will stay in the vicinity of their den if indeed he is still with them. Try looking around the area (sheds etc) near the sighting is my best bet. You could try putting out food near sighting area and see who comes "calling" for it. He may even follow the fox to the food source. Good luck xx Last edited: 2014-08-18 16:39:15 by ClaireC

- We have had other cases of small dogs joining up with foxes to survive and may explain lack of sightings and he would now be following a nocturnal lifestyle. Any experts on foxes out there and their behaviour and territory covered?

- Call to admin from someone seeing the poster...at 01.30am on Monday morning the 28th July her husband was coming home from work and spotted the Chihuahua playing with a fox he stopped the car and called to him but fox ran off and the Chihuahua followed. this was on Whitehill lane by parade of shops near Tescos. His wife has only just seen the poster.
