- Great news, ......Jessie is home. I went to the owners house to help with a search & while I was there, they got a phone call. She was in a field about a mile or so (as the crow flies) from home. She had been sitting there about an hour, not moving. As the owners had alerted every farm etc in the area they were contacted by the workers cutting the grass. We took a damp towel, as I suspected she may be overheated a little & dehydrated. She was just sitting there!! The owner jumped the gate & called her, she was a bit nervy at first, so I told him to get down, then she came running over & covered him in kisses. Back home she was greeted by all the children & other dogs. She was thirsty, but otherwise ok. (Sorry didn't get a photo, my camera is playing up :( )

- Have spoken to owner. Jessie has been missing since about 11.30 this morning, she slipped her lead & ran off. She is in season & may be having fun, but the area is very rural. They have notified all local farms & neighbours, vets, dog warden.
Have emailed advice sheets.
Hopefully she has been picked up by someone tonight & will be reunited tomorrow, but may need help postering if she is still at large tomorrow.
I will be available in the afternoon
