- Just reading through this, Vasilis, you have to remember Hanzo is chipped so it is always possible he will resurface. Make sure you have registered him as missing with the chip company. Also, as many thousands of owners will testify, dogs do get home if owner does everything we advise and doesn't give up. Many times people take dogs in, but if they see posters they get scared and let them go and dog warden picks them up, scans and back to you they go. But you have to keep at it. You have to do the work to gain the glory. It CAN be done. We will not give up watching for him, as you can see below. Come on Hanzo baby, where are you? x

- The dog that we thought was Hanzo has gone back to owners, but dog returned of own accord so no scanner chip check. Not many dogs like Hanzo in same areas, so if anyone sees a dog like him, please let us know so we can verify. Many thanks. x

- Vasilis we had our girl stolen in November...I so understnd how you feel....
For us channeling that hurt (and I honestly know how deep it goes) int trying to find her helped really start to turn over stone to look for her everywhere.
You hang in there as the hurt somehow drives us if that make sense? You will find your boy and am leaving you strength till your own comes back.
Vasilis its hell but you will find a way through it and you will get him back xx
Have re-shared him to Pup's page and will retweet him too - 2014-08-28 17:54 tamaratdavis

- Vasilis please don't give up looking for him.He has every chance of being found. You seem convinced that someone has taken him,but you can't know for sure as nobody confirmed that. Please put up loads of posters. Start where he went missing and work out in a circle surrounding area. People will call in with sightings and you will know what direction he headed in. If he's still out there lost,he's waiting for you to find him. If you need help please post on here

- kimmybear , first of all thanks for the mails and all the help, i've done all and notified everyone,in the weekend i'll go and see if the posters are there and post more but at this point my hopes are low as im pretty sure than someone already took him, and lets be honest, if someone wanted to keep him he would, and its a puppy as cute as it gets, most wouldn't give it back..Last edited: 2014-08-21 23:31:29 by AlisonH

- Owner, did you get the email? Please do everything it says. Contact the Highways people for your area (ask the council) and contact the local council cleansing dept as well in case they've seen him. Give a poster to all taxi cabs, postmen, bus drivers. He will need food if on the run so may get this from parks or bins or shops or pubs. this is how you get your dog home as people will see him and find a poster and call you! If someone has him, he needs to be made famous so they are scared to keep him. Go get your baby!x

- Can I suggest posters go out to a 5 mile radius of missing area. He is a big fit dog and could cover vast distances. I'm guessing if he was still local he would try to get home. Also contact wider area for vets etc at least same distance as posters. As my text yesterday if you would like any help please contact me,you have my details

- Owner, you need LOADS of posters up there as its a busy road and anyone could have seen him. Plaster the area with posters. You can print one from this page - click on the poster bit - and then if you photocopy them in black and white they tend to last even in rain and will be cheaper. Have a few coloured ones as well. You really need to get this done asap. Go find your fur baby! x

- Sorry to see that HANZO is missing.
- If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
- Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
- A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (73518)
- Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
- You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
- Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
- If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
- If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
