Just had a lovely email from the Police Officer involved with this poor dog -
"Laura,

I just wanted to send you an email to thank you people for their help trying to find the owner of the dog in Pembroke. I have done a lot of work to try and find the owner…. I get the feeling that the owner does not want to be found now! Luckily the dog has been adopted and locals have donated the money to cover the dogs vet costs"

What a lucky boy living with such great people :)

Spoke to the police (PC Hamish rang me back) and she said the dog was in good condition (albeit involved in a RTA) and looked much loved but no owner has contacted them yet. She said she would send me a picture next week when the vet is next open so hopefully on Monday. The dog is going to be fine and the vets charity have paid for the treatment (WOW - How lovely are they!). And stupidly I forgot to ask if the lurcher is a he or she! DOH!
Bo
I've left a message for PC Hamish say that people are offering to donate towards vet care if needed and that Mollychops has a contact in that area to help if required for the lurcher. They've taken my contact details and said they would pass the message on to the PC when he's next on duty. Will update ASAP x
