Thank you to everyone who has shared, looked and commented on this post. I am so happy to say that our precious Alfie is now home safe, tucked up on the sofa. He is extremely tired after his ordeal but with love and cuddles he'll be bouncing again. Off to get him microchipped in the morning and already have a collar with our telephone numbers on. This is a wonderful site. Thank you so, so much x

Allicmac is right, put up as many posters as possible. They really do work. Have you been in touch with the local dog wardens too? And local rescue centres in case he gets handed in to one of them? I really hope he is back very soon. Got everything crossed for you.

Thank you Pearly Jones. I was walking him around the lake and he was chased by another dog and pelted towards the entrance. Someone on ascot gossip girls Facebook site had seen him near the petrol station and tried to grab him but he ran off toward Christchurch. We went searching for 3hrs but nothing :-(. I am hoping he is curled up on someone's sofa and we will be reunited in the morning. Our hearts are breaking without him.

Am really sorry to hear about Alfie. We are pretty close to Virginia Water. Did he run off on a walk? If you need help looking for him let us know here?
