- Found owner this afternoon, local gamekeeper was looking after the dog for a neighbour. The dog was kept outside and managed to get out. It followed a runner and was picked up by two cyclists who gave it to a neighbour. After ringing around this afternoon the owner was found.

- Photo rotated and lightened. Looks like a Patterdale to me.

- Sounds as if I should have "paid more attention" in geography lessons all those years ago. LOL. It's just that it's better to search under region, Thanks girls XX

- We had a big debate what to class it as at our house, we seem to fall under different regions depending on the website. I'll change it to central, probably the closest.

- I live at S42 and that's central, think if it's the Peak District that will be central, hope the owners are found soonXxx

- Not sure region is correct, other S postcodes come up as North East. Thanks for Caring and sharing Laura, hope this baby gets home. Yvonne ( self appointed postcode checker cos I can't do anything clever )
