- Have since called vets, Swayne & Partners & Eastgate Vets to check if they have had any enquiries for a dog fitting the description, but unfortunately no one has called in. Will check tomorrow with the dog warden.

- The finder of this dog knocked on several doors to try & find an owner. As it was getting late & the lady had been at work, she had to call the dog warden. The dog was collected by the dog warden at approx 10pm on the 17th Aug.
This was an older dog, possibly a Jack Russell cross (?), which moved ok, but slowly. No collar.
I have enquired in the area today (18th) as to whether anyone is searching for or recognises the dog's description, but unfortunately no one was able to help. However, residents are aware & know that the dog is in the care of the dog warden, if someone should come looking.
