- It's a real long shot but a female border has been found in Spain with a chip registered to a vets in Woking. She looks small like Gertie, hair has grown but looks similar colour. Her photo has been shared on Border Terriers Lost& Found on Facebook.

- There is absolutely no coast or water in the area Gertie is missing. Owners has been very active in trying to find her dog.

- Ask the owners t ohire a boat and go around the coast to see if she is stuck on a ledge somewhere......have the Lifeboat people been notified?Also all fishermen in the are to ask them to look for her good luck xx
Just to add if they do pot holing in the area to get hold of the clubs to check any underground caverns etc

- Owner working tirelessly to find her dog. So sightings whatsoever, no calls. She has possibly been picked up by a tourist as went missing in school holiday and cheddar a big tourist area. Article in the Cheddar Valley Gazette has not bought any information either. Owner desperate for news, if you know anything please call.

- She went missing at 715pm on Sat (16th) we stayed looking in that area until it was dark, and then out again at pretty much first light on sunday. We have scoured that whole area pretty thoroughly, checked all the cliff faces/badger sets etc. she has just vanished. :-(

- We were walking on the right hand side of the road from where you would park for black rock in Cheddar. She is not the sort to run off. She just dissapeared. Thank you everybody for all your help and concern.

- If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
- Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
