- Hi, there was a cocker spaniel in Potton running around earlier. Several people tried to catch it but it was too fast and has ran into someone's garden. Was a very dark btown/black and had a collar. Just thought I'd let you know and I hope you find Jarvis.

- Maybe try and contact the chiltern gundog society, they cover the local area of luton, bucks, herts etc and would probably know of a large number of gamekeepers or someone who has come across Jarvis, maybe send them posters to pass round their members at their next training day, they have a facebook page so have a look and contact. Think it's a good way to spread the word, please let us know how your search gets on, more heads together can think of more ideas.

- Found no 50492 looks similar to Jarvis so maybe worth a look, at least if it is him you maybe able to follow it up although it does say he now has a new home. Have a look and see what you think

- Maybe worth dropping off posters at vets in luton and also contacting Luton Hoo as that's about the biggest land estate in the area apart from Woburn Abbey who I know also have a hunt. Not really that many land estates in the luton area probably more likely to be on the outskirts like the hoo and villages.

- Try contacting the local hunt. They have access to all local landowners and game keepers in their area. They all usually have a website so maybe the hunt could post something on there? Hope you get your boy back soon - he's gorgeous. Who the hell rehomed him?? x

- Sounds as though Jarvis is probably still with the gamekeeper, who won't be looking on lost dog sites. Is there a local Gundog training club which would put you in touch with gamekeepers? Also, they tend to be employed by large farm estates.
