- Any news on this girly xx

- It might help if the poster said something about the owner and his health to possibly prick someones conscious that might see it. With no sightings at all we can only conclude someone picked her up around the golf course area and has kept her or sold her on. I don't think there were travellers up there on that week end other than the new age ones who are ok. x

- I saw a dog very similar in St Annes Well Gardens yesterday about 6/6:30ish, ran up to my dogs played chase for a bit then ran off again....
could be just coincidence but thught I should mention it in case, I'll keep an eye out tonight on our walk - 2014-09-11 13:23 Denise
- I saw a dog that looked the spit of Poppy being walked by a woman in Hampden Park this morning. Was on my way to the station so it must have been just before 9am

- Will do some more postering today. Strange that there have been no sightings at all.

- Sadly no news. If anyone can help with putting posters up and making Poppy too hot to handle. It would give the owner a great boost to his health if we could get Poppy back safely as soon as possible. If anyone is holding Poppy - have a heart and return Poppy to his distraught elderly owner. Poppy means so much to him as she was given to him the day after his wife died.

- Message received from Clarkey Doglost Co-ordinator ESussex, She unfotunately is still without internet ~~ UGENT APPEAL ~~ Please could local helpers poster 4 Poppy... Suggest everywhere around Golf Course & surrounding area... Also can local helpers ensure local Vets & Rescue Centres etc have been postered....
Posters are so important, the whole area needs to be flooded with them..
Thank You - 2014-08-28 10:14 angi
- Strongly also advice contacting local radio BBC sussex and heart fm. As I'm sure under these circumstances they will put a call out as I know they have in the past. Also the Argus often take up this sort of story. I would also contact Farm watch because of the rural location. They normally don't do lost dogs but if you explain the circumstances I would hope they would make an exception. X

- Poppy is a Staffordshire bull terrier/whippet cross. For a number of reasons we need to get some posters up so if anyone can help that would be great. The owner is elderly and has recently lost his wife and is now due to move into more manageable accommodation within days and so we need to get Poppy back before that happens. Posters around the golf courses, Devils Dyke area and all the footpaths in that area including the South Downs way.

- Sorry to see that POPPY is missing.
- If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
- Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
- A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (74078)
- Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
- You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
- Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
- If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
- If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
- Keep us updated by keeping your dog's page up to date and check for posts from helpers who may have suggestions and possible matches or sightings
- DogLost is free and anyone asking for money to find or return your dog is not volunteering for us. If you are concerned about an approach you have received, please email admin@doglost.co.uk
