I am very sorry to hear of Herbie's demise and tried to look at his FB page but, understandably, I think it has now been deleted. Could someone please tell me what exactly happened to him? Thanks

I have been following the search for Herbie while looking for little Indy the yorkie from Formby..I know how emotional it is looking for a lost dog..it was with such great joy yesterday that Indy was found after 2 weeks but the I logged on to dog lost and read about Herbie..so very sad ..my precious dog passed away young in Feb and I will never forget her she fillled my heart with joy.. I am very sorry for your loss .

Rainbow Bridge

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

It's with Sad news , that Herbie was found this afternoon by Daniel , very close to where he was staying , and it had been where people had looked many times , he hadn't suffered, it must have been very quick .

Many people had looked in the very same place , but he would only let us get back home before we knew , a very special dog to the end x

Me , Daniel his children , would like to thank , Gill Jolleys Rebecka Jolleys ALL the Jolleys , all the special people that we know and don't know , who looked tiredly for hours , days walking , looking , posting flyers phoning radio, newspapers, we would like to thank them , from the bottom of our hearts and that they should know that they are special people .

I would also ask one last thing , please if you see any flyers / posters please take them down and share this post . Thank you again for everything you all did xxxxxxx

A message off someone on a lancaster and morecambe site had i had posted Herbie on .......There is another family with a cockerpoo in Lancaster, I'd hate for you to be going on a wildgoose chase although he is lighter than Herbie

THREE possible sightings in LANCASTER, ONE in GARSTANG, all sightings of cockapoo with two young girls. Alerted all avenues in local area, and CCTV to be reviewed by police. I have updated his profile to remind you that he is RECENTLY FULLY CLIPPED, so is NOT his normal fluffy self. I've been liaising with owner and Rebecka who is Herbie's breeder. They are out postering the area and doing a great job. Possible sightings today were with two girls.

I've uploaded more recent photo/s of HERBIE who has recently been groomed and his coat is much shorter than in previous photo/s (YOU MAY NEED TO REFRESH THE PAGE TO VIEW THEM).

Rebecka will update a.s.a.p. when back home.

One update received from Rebecka via messaging:

The three radio stations know, and have said they'll try and do shout outs-but he is on their websites. Will set to with the local papers in the morning. There have now been three sightings in Lancaster today between 10 and 2 xxx

Have been in touch with Rebecka and alerted her to a found, but it is not HERBIE.

Rebecka is doing all the right things and is still out looking for him. HERBIE is MICROCHIPPED.

I've updated details above and swopped photo/s over to show up on his poster.

If he is still not back home by tomorrow evening I will share on fb. Fingers crossed he is back home soon. x
