When my dog was stolen the police were excellent because they said it gave them a reason to go and search the suspect's house. They found what they expected and he's now serving some time at Her Majesty's pleasure, without any charges being needed for the dog theft. Worse sight of our lives to see our gentle boxer boy with massive studded black leather collar on, instead of his simpsons collar ! I wish more Police forces would at least see an opportunity and investigate the dog thefts more actively.

The joy on his owner's face in the photo on facebook says it all. I'm so happy for them! Welcome home Winston! A big pat on the back for the Humberside Police as well - great work. From the look on the policewoman's face she's thrilled with the outcome too!

I've just seen a photo on Facebook of Winston and his Mum with a Humberside police officer :-). He is safe and well and most definitely back home xx

Is there a description of the peopole that stole him. There was a 3 month GSD puppy stolen in Bradford last week, sold on the same day in the area. The rightful owner had put a message in the paper and the new owners have seen it. Not saying it's the same thieves but maybe worth checking with the police if it's a regular gang :/ Shared on FB S64.
