Maybe I'm being unrealistic, in fact I probably am being, but for the sake of all beings, human and animal, I think railway lines should be fenced off

Oh how absolutely heartbreaking. Yet another railway victim. I am so very sorry and my thoughts are with the family, who do now have closure and are able to lay her to rest in the garden. Run free at the bridge, beautiful Meg, where my four springers will be waiting to play xxxx

I am sorry to say that I have had an email from Olivia (the owner). It seems that Megs body has been found at the side of the local railway line. Her partner has gone to pick Meg up & she will be buried in the garden.
Run free sweet Meg. Thoughts are with your owners.

Will keep an eye out, keep safe beautiful girl. Have asked admin to add St.Ives/ Lelant to the posters, so that any holiday makers down who are unsure where the beach is will look out for her on their travels.
[Thanks admin for doing so straight away!]Last edited: 2014-08-28 14:23:15 by Tiana

Have spoken to owner & emailed advice sheets.
It seems Meg was being walked by a family member & was not normally walked in this area. Meg lives about 4 miles away at Towednack nr St Ives.
Have advised her owner to contact the railway people as there is the local St Erth to St Ives local line running nearby. They can check the line & look out for her.
Hopefully she is still around the area, so have suggested scenting. It is alo possible she may be making her way home.

Stay safe Meg until you are reunited.

I'm not sure what the South coast is like. Are there any 'puddles' on the sands or around rocks? My spaniel was haring around the beach and jumped into a puddle and promptly disappeared it was so deep, while everyone stood around laughing, he had a real struggle to get out.

Bless her it can be scary when they can't find their owners so she might be hiding.

I wonder if putting the bigger picture as the top one is a better idea though?

We are postering for our Pup, Jack Springer and Charlie jr the end of the week so if you need more putting up for Meg please do tell us as we don't mind at all.

Will put her up on Pup's page, my timeline and any groups she isn't on as till the end of the week its all I can do.

Really hope you will soon find her x
