Fingers crossed that this phone call brings Loola home. There are now lots of posters around the area and Loolas owner has obviously put flyers in all the newspapers as my Mum & Dad had received one and had also been in all the local vets as there was one in my surgery when i was in there last week! It is a bit of a pity that there were no posters put up when she first went missing - lets hope this finally brings her home.xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Owner has had a call asking if she has been done(spayed-luckily yes) and how much the reward is-sounds promising-will put details forward for the countrymans weekly magazine.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I live in Horam - i did see a dachsie about 3 or 4 weeks ago on a Saturday outside the bakery with some people. I am almost certain (altho not 100%) that it was a male though as i looked specifically - this was before Loola's poster had been re emailed but was aware that she was still missing. I see that there have been a few posters displayed now locally so hopefully this means that Loola might be recognised.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Loola went missing in 2006-owner feels she is still in the area-have upgraded photo on site and re e mailed the poster out to local helpers.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

is this a current listing as all the dates are for 2006? Not sure if this is just an error or if the dates should read 2007. It could explain why helpers in the area have not seen posters displayed.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I do hope Loola is safe - it does seem odd that owners have not been out postering. Fingers CrossedLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I didn't poster the Forest as I had a horse and horse box, but I handed out posters to farmers in the area - yes, leaflet farms - that is a good idea.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Live approx 10 miles away but have many friends in this area will forward them details. As this is a very rural area suggest owners drop posters in to all farms in the area plus post offices/shops in Wadhurst/Burwash villages. If I can be of any further help please PM me. Hope there is good news soon x Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Marian - Stonegate is a tiny village between Wadhurst & Burwash. The Crowborough end of Ashdown Forest is probably approx 25 minute drive away. Do we know exactly where she was being walked when she went missing? My parents have a farm that pretty much backs onto the Stonegate road.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
Marian
Put up your posters everywhere - give them to postmen, bin men etc - all the pubs and everywhere people walk their dogs - everyone notices a mini dachsie. They are really tough little dogs and she will survive for ages out there, even if no one has picked her up Very best of luck, we are thinking of you Marian and dachsie Suzy xxxxx Where is Stonegate. I am going to the Ashdown on Thursday morning - is this anywhere near? I will take posters anyway - is there a photo on the wayLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
