- I would really urge you to go to Battersea and check and see if Bruno may have been handed in or call them again and send a photo and ask them to check. I am still sharing on twitter etc in the hope you will get him back soon. Last edited: 2014-09-25 15:24:58 by reggiemollieros

- Hi when you reported to Battersea did you tell them Bruno is on here and have you been in there to look? People are sharing photo of the poster on Streetlife and someone asked if you had been in touch with local Rspca branches . Also they seem to take dogs to the Putney branch. They also mentioned Blue Cross. If you have done this apologies I said I would cross post .

- So today I sent one of our posters and spoke to a lady at Streatham High School and Dog Lost has extended alerts to SW12. Regarding Camberwell and Kennington police dog kennels - they don't look after lost dogs anymore, this is up to the council - and we have already contacted the council. Will look around Abbottswood Road tonight and post a few posters there too. Thanks again for your advice.

- Further alerts sent to helpers in SW12.

- Sorry you may have done this but I would let Lambeth and Croydon dog wardens know too so you cover your neighbouring areas. Call 101 too which is the non emergency Police number as given this was a weekend and Lambeth dog wardens do not work weekends they, the Police, may have been called if someone found Bruno and did not know what to do. I am guessing you have done Wandsworth dog warden already who I have to say are really really good when I have dealt with them.

- I mean the vet that we use when our own vet is closed. Is on Streatham High just before you get to Kwik Fit. They only open out of hours (South London Emergency Centre, 23 Streatham High Road, SW16 020 8677 0976 their hours are 7pm to 9am and weekends). Have you checked that area where the Steiner School used to be? You can get access from Abbottswood Road there is a gate half down towards Drewstead Road. Lots of fox holes there. There are two big wooden gates on the common side which are locked but very easy for a dog to slip under. My friends Parson Russell Terrier is always getting in there. Also in the grounds of the girls school which is on the Spinney. The caretaker will keep an eye out for him and will check the grounds.
As Bruno's sister was found in Fernlea which is SW12 I would suggest you email admin@doglost.co.uk and ask them to send alerts out to this postcode too as it is not in the list of postcodes below. At least I can't see it there. I walk Rosie around those streets so will keep a look out and take a poster to the pet shop on Emmanuel Road (tomorrow) so they can put it in the window.
I have shared this page and details on Streetlife which is a local website for the local community. If anyone shares anything on there I shall cross post back to here.

- Bruno's sister (a white fluffier terrier) was also with him, but she was handed back to us on Sunday morning - after a couple noticed her in a neighbour's garden on Fernlea Road.

- Thank you for all your advice, much appreciated.
I called 10 vets today incl Streatham Vale Vets which is the one I think you mean here.
We have also reported him to Batt Dogs Home. I'm just concerned that if he has not been picked up, that he make be stuck down a hole or something. - 2014-09-01 18:02 reggiemollieros
- Have you checked with the emergency vets on Streatham High Road? The last time I helped with a dog missing in this area it was a weekend and the police took him there for a scan but he was not chipped so they took him to Kennington and then to the police kennels in Camberwell however the emergency vet remembered him coming in so we traced him via the Police and he was reunited. Here are the details: South London Emergency Centre, 23 Streatham High Road, SW16 020 8677 0976 their hours are 7pm to 9am and weekends.

- Sorry to see that BRUNO is missing.
- If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
- Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
- A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (74395)
- Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
- You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
- Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
- If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
- If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
- Keep us updated by keeping your dog's page up to date and check for posts from helpers who may have suggestions and possible matches or sightings
- DogLost is free and anyone asking for money to find or return your dog is not volunteering for us. If you are concerned about an approach you have received, please email admin@doglost.co.uk
