Fingers crossed she is now safely home. Shame the previous owners never had her chipped really, considering she is an adult dog.

The ashdown twitter account also reports she is now safe. I have sent a follow up email to the person who sold her to not panic but if she has the new owners details to perhaps make contact and have a discussion about chipping, tagging, and bonding with her.

Thank you for the information Brighton Dogwatch. I have sent a text asking for confirmation and will post as soon as I get a reply.

We've been informed on the Brighton Dogwatch page that this dog was found this afternoon. There was an update on the Ashdown Forest page earlier: https://www.facebook.com/ashdown.centre
Can owner confirm?

have just emailed the pics, have also sent an enquiry to the owner of that dog in the website link I posted here earlier asking if they sold it on to new owners yesterday, and if so they need urgent help to recover it as it is now lost.
AlisonH
Jo can you email the photos to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting ID74421 and I will add them to this page later on. X

Am pretty sure that dog's photo on the link I posted earlier is the right one...called Zara..in sussex..white tip of tail and white mark on head. Was still being offered for sale 3 days ago so matches with going to new owner yesterday. I've got copies of the pics if you can't paste them yourself.Last edited: 2014-09-01 19:04:46 by Jot cotswolds

Text sent requesting a photo.

The A22 one side and Ashdown Forest on the other.I hope Zara does not chase sheep. The Ashdown forest is not a place for a lost dog.I have friends who walk on the forest and I have notified them to watch out for Zara. The farmer who owns the sheep will be on the look out.Do hope Zara is found soon.

ashdown forest centre have tweeted that this dog has no tag, is unchipped and may be wearing a blue collar. last seen Clockhouse Lane, Nutley. This area is right by the very busy A22 so this dog needs catching urgently.Last edited: 2014-09-01 17:41:50 by Jot cotswolds

is this the dog? found on a link using the dogs name and the area as still for sale as of 3 days ago - is this the dog that needs looking for as it fits the description given exactly? http://www.pets4homes.co.uk/classifieds/741632-5-year-old-blsck-blue-roan-bitch-needs-loving-home-bognor-regis.html

How did she get loose? Might there be a collar or lead still attached? Previous poster advice needs taking ..she needs someone she is familiar with to help urgently
