- For interest - I've added a picture from the kennel club breed standard for a Pitbull terrier

- Like Seeks said because of wardens not knowing the "types" these poor dogs are now held "just in case"! Keeping every crossed for this little boy that his owner comes forward. So heartbreaking. X

- Gilly its not confirmed...just this area had that poor little bull lurcher so I think this particular warden needs training and as you say should look at a few Pits
It might not be confirmed by the dls so keep you fingers crossed. You know what I think but its yet to be confirmed....
Just he really isn't your typical typed dog....xx - 2014-09-06 14:25 Unknown
- Here we go again. Another poor lad doomed because of ignorance! Have any of these people who decide a dog they find is of type actually SEEN a pit bull?

- Thanks for sharing - he has been taken by the police to be assessed.

- Alison not attacking anyone but the person who thinks this one is type. I think also that attack is the wrong word but have deleted my comment as I don't mean to upset the person listing it just this boy is not your typical type dog....I will leave it at that if its ok? x

- I think what Seeks means is that on the SDK site the warden has put down Breed to be Determined so they may think this is a Pitbull type?? Owner needs to come forward asap for this one.
