Please check out the dog sighted in Sidcup DA14. Full details are on Dougals Army FB page together with footage & pictures. Also posted by Øllie Jeffs FB post. This stray looks very like your girl. Please check it out for yourself. There is also a sighting listed on Doglost but I'm not sure if this is the same dog as one in Sidcup.

Very well done and big thanks to all involved in making the girl safe, wishing her a bright and happy future. Special thanks to the ladies that made contact re Kia, here's hoping she's soon reunited.

So sorry the Slough girl wasn't Kia. Well done to all those who caught her. Really hope Kia will be scanned soon & back home where she belongs x

What a shame but well done on catching the stray girl safely, the search for Kia continues x

The Wexham Saluki was caught last night by our DogLost team. Unfortunately not Kia as chipped to another owner/location. She is beautiful, stayed with one of our ladies last night and seems to be in good health.
So sorry to raise hopes that it might have been Kia . . .
The search goes on and we'll still be looking out for her constantly x

Jot cotswolds, sorry can't answer your question directly but know owner to have been encouraged having seen photos of stray and as below have a point of contact. Thanks.
Lilybear
Thanks Lisa P,karen14568 and everyone for your kind messages and updates. I spoke with Kia's owners on Thursday, they are delighted that Kia is remembered and very much appreciate the ongoing support. They have seen photos and now have a direct point of contact at Doglost. Thanks again.
Jot cotswolds
So what is happening? Is Kia's owner in Slough with the sighter trying to see if it is Kia? There is a lot activity on Facebook but nobody seems sure if the owner thinks the pics are her and is there searching...or possibly she hasn't seen the pics yer? Or does Kia's owner feel the photo's aren't a good enough match? Some clarification of where the owner is on looking at this Slough dog would be great as so many folk think it is the right dog..there is a danger they'll stop looking for Kia closer to home.Last edited: 2017-06-28 20:37:02 by Jot cotswolds

DogLost karen14568 is in touch with Kia's owner RE the straying dog x
Jot cotswolds
The Slough dog looks a very close match and Slough is only 20-30mins along the M4 by car from Swindon....I can't see anywhere here or in Facebook if the owner of Kia has now been shown the pics of the Slough dog and has been put in touch with the woman who knows where that dog is?? Everyone is pointing towards the loose dog in Slough as possibly being Kia but contact with her owner about it seems unclear. Is someone from doglost actually in touch with them and showing them that dog?Last edited: 2017-06-28 20:22:09 by Jot cotswolds

Lurchers mad
I've been hoping that the dog in Slough has been caught.
I've also just realised that this dog Kia is probably the mother of my Saluki x who was stolen from an equestrian property near a Devizes!
Mandy

We have a Saluki loose Nr Slough, Berkshire at the moment. Trying to establish where exactly with locals. I have photos saved, very similar to Kia, but would like to show Sharon if possible. Will text photos - hope this is OK. xx
DogLostLisa P - Regional Co-ordinator, Central
Owner emailed for update & to ask if they wish status changing now as this was not available when Kia first went missing x
Mary
As there is a Police Reference number on here Admin should be able to upgrade this to stolen. Owner if you think the wandering dog may be yours. Contact the dog warden for Slough and give them your details, also check Kia's microchip details are up to date. Last edited: 2017-06-27 07:12:47 by Mary

Hello my names Paige I had a call yesterday as a saluki had been found in Cheshire, me and my boyfriend rushed there as we thought it might be ours, and the dog we found looked like your one I'm not sure though we thought it was a male but we couldn't get too close as it kept running away
