How fantastic that Star's owner had ClaireBear to guide her. So many people would have taken the word of the pound staff/warden that it wasn't the dog they were looking for. Very well done for pushing for more information. Thrilled that Star is home safely :D

I have been in contact with Kim (owner) since last night and we agreed that the "found" dog millypod posted below was too much of a coincidence and needing double checking. Kim has been on the phone non stop to the wardens, and just heard the fantastic news it IS Star!

Star is being taken home today - what brilliant news! Thank you so much millypod :)

I will move in to the blue as soon as I hear back Star is home :) x

No millypod, the Bull Terrier. Owner rang and they said this dog was not Star. I agree it sounds too much like her and advised she speak to them again. They then advised that the found dog was picked up on 8th September but due to recent events, has only just been registered on AW site. I think it may need looking into again :/ x

I have been told of a sighting of star in the Harpurhey area yesterday. This dog was with a young white male dressed in denim jeans and black hoody top. The dog matching Stars description was on a chain looking very scared. Please can anyone in that area keep a look out for her. Thank you.
