There was at least 5 people out looking on Saturday.
Asking people if they had seen a dog.
Not one person had, unless it had gone home.
Fingers crossed it did.

I set up Lost page for this same dog 74974 so we could get alerts and posters out. I am now just using this one as that has been achieved. Please post on here now and I will remove the Lost page in a little while. I have copied comments over and the times. Thank you. x

18.10 From Me:
I had to run home to post here and ran back. No greyhounds o mine, Dogs Trust & DogLost stickers. But was on foot a lot as was helper NettyB. She was searching the woods. No further sightings. Have now come in for the day, unless I hear anything. Hopefully dog is safe or owner found. But, will keep checking, just in case. It had no collar. Some recent undesirables had GSDs so was worrying about that aspect. Thank you to those who rallied round. Was there a sighting of a white GSD when you were out? If so, it wasn't the same one, but hope that's alright too. x

Well, armed with liver cake and a lead, I'm driving round the area searching. Nobody has seen the dog.

I've rung the emergency vet for strays to see if there's been a gsd, injured or otherwise, brought in. No dog has been taken in.
I've also rung Harlow police, no RTA reported there and Ive spoken to Harlow pound and they've had no gsd brought In today.

So, either its still on the run or (hopefully) gone home.

There's a few of us from Mutts searching and will keep the search up.

Apparantly, the dog is very nervous, so could be a difficult catch.

Just received a call. Pat from Mutts and 2 other people are actually out there right now 2pm trying to catch this dog. It is in the Stow area of Harlow near Maddocks Rd, Arkwright and Vicarage Wood. If there is anyone local who could go and help it would be greatly appreciated.Last edited: 2014-09-13 15:32:08 by AlisonH
