This dog has been pts. Owners have seen photo and think could be snoopy so I am waiting for officer to call me back to try to verify. Thanks jac that one is not snoopy

Postcode is e11 I believe. I know leytonstone and Leyton are covered poster wise,so would be after Stratford. The other direction from south woodford up to Epping is covered..I have been asking people I know to put a poster of snoopy in their car window, this could be something others might like to do. Could we get some helpers around Hainault way also as we haven't touched thhereLast edited: 2014-10-08 08:33:32 by Shelagh

DogLostKimmybear - Area Co-ordinator, Essex & Hertfordshire borders
You are so fantastic out there! Bless you helpers.
Do you think he cojld have been picked up and taken on a train at Snaresbrook? Maybe we need to widen te search as well as keeping tabs closer to home. If we can get helpers in the areas the train stops to put a couple of posters up at each station area, that may help also. Can we share Snoppy on facebook and twitter say, to all areas with Central line stations. Just in case. I will ask Riverlady for twitter as well. x
Shelagh
The only two sightings we have are the two in high ams park on day he went missing, both same location. Whilst we cannot dismiss them,I feel we should treat them with some caution as no sightings have come in before or after these two. Thanks for help, much appreciated by all
Jac

Shelagh
The dog on school site was neither "deceased" dog or snoopy. He was a runaway and has been reunited. Snoopy is still missing
Shelagh
Searched other direction of sighted dog and down other road that leads to PDSA. Saw a notice on gates of Beale high school to say small white and tan dog found yesterday morning in school fields. I am guessing this is dog that was seen in road,as is quite close to there. The number is for the school and obviously shut now. I will phone to establish if indeed this was the dog in question.
Laura
Really hoping for a safe and speedy recovery of this special boy x
Shelagh
If anybody needs better directions please phone 07593094309, I do not have access to this site when I am out. Thanks
Shelagh
Thanks but that is not snoopy. That dog that found in park yesterday. (See comments below)

Can you look on found section at a dog that says American bulldog in same postcode. Don't think its scoops but worth checking as he has similar collar and black spots and some black on ears.
Shelagh
Location woodford avenue/Southend road. Tesco side opposite parade of shops near Toby carvery. Heading away from charlie browns.
Shelagh
Any searchers near charlie browns round about. Please could you check bushes along stretch of road: opposite parade of shops nor Toby carvery, tesco side of road going away from charlie browns. Also first road on right, along that stretch. Working on assumption "deceased " dog could have been injured or I'll and managed torun and hhis. Unfortunately can't get there until this evening myself and time is of essence if dog is there.
Shelagh
Back from search of area where deceased dog was seen. Checked as much as we could up to PDSA roding lane. Put posters up. Thanks to Donna, her son and her friend who came to help me search. Also thanks to Ron who rushed to look for "deceased" dog at very short notice, after he'd been out doing the postering. All avenues have been exhausted regarding somebody picking up dog (deceased). Checked councils w/forest,Redbridge,have ring, dog wardens, police barking side,Redbridge.tfl,PDSA woodford,no reports of dog.
Shelagh
Barking side dog not snoopy. Another deceased sighted charlie browns this morning but dog not there now. Nobody picked up deceased one!

75463 in lost duplicate ad different area but better pictures x instead of two pages could alerts also be sent to the other postcodes that way people are working off the same page x
Shelagh
There has been a sighting yesterday of a dog similar to snoopy alone in a park st James street. The description is a white staff with definite brown patch at base of tail. Donna has rechecked info with lady who saw him and itis correct. Snoopy does have some black spots on his skin that can be seen through his fur. Have asked Donna to try and get body shot picture of snoopy and send to lady st James street and boy with high ams park sighting. This seems only way to establish if snoop or not
Shelagh
No news yet. We are adding posters to high ams park and walthamstow and Leyton. Have added him to street life and walthamstow missing pets f/book page. Notified Leyton midland vets.

Sunday, Snaresbrook station (this does seem to fit with location). Please can we all share far and wide as if someone has taken Snoopy we need to make him too hot to handle. Thank you. x
DogLostKimmybear - Area Co-ordinator, Essex & Hertfordshire borders
Owner (or via Shelagh), if Snoppy was apparently seen and picked up but not handed in, you need to go to police as this is theft by finding. You need to get a CRIME number from police (not an incident number) as then they have to investigate. Please try and get this. The Highways Agency for roads and the local council cleansing depts need to be called as we need to know if they have seen him - remember they do NOT scan dogs they find on roads. We just need to make them aware of Snoopy and also to check they haven't found him at all. Also, if this was close to a railway, that needs to be checked out as well. We need to rule these things out. Also, if he was near the motorway you need to call Transport for London as they deal with that by Redbridge/Wodford. It's a real pain trying to get through, but if possible, needs to be checked. Also, take a look on Redbridge council's page where they report dogs on roads. They should show a map and location of any reported. Someone may have picked Snoopy up and not handed in (as does happen and poor Ron knows). This poor little mite, sounds like he's already been in the wars, bless him. What Ron has said about his real home, is very possible. He could have been trying to find his owners/home. Does he know his way back from from where he was staying? Is it do-able? x
Unknown
Do we know where his real owner lives? he might be trying to get back there

Donna has just confirmed that a photo of Snoopy is not available as the owners are on holiday
Red Alert
I have spoken to Donna who registered Snoopy and she also gave the following information: He is white with a brown or black patch. 5yrs or maybe older. The owners have gone to Jamica for 2 wks and left the dog in a friends care. Sunday night when my friend went to the chute to empty the bin the dog got out and run up towards The Eagle pub, the area was Southwoodford Redbridge and went towards Waltham Forest Way. The dog has no collar on and suffers with fits. He needs to have 2 tablets a day to help this.Last edited: 2014-09-17 13:22:06 by Red Alert
Admin
Sorry to see that SNOOPY EPILEPTIC is missing.
  • If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
  • Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
  • A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (75191)
  • Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
  • You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
  • Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
  • If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
  • If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
  • Keep us updated by keeping your dog's page up to date and check for posts from helpers who may have suggestions and possible matches or sightings
  • DogLost is free and anyone asking for money to find or return your dog is not volunteering for us. If you are concerned about an approach you have received, please email admin@doglost.co.uk
