Rainbow Bridge

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together xx

I was truly gutted when I got the call this afternoon, everyone has worked so hard in the search and postering. I have spoken to Blade's owner tonight who is heartbroken. Its not the outcome any of us wanted but now they have closure. Where Blade was found, is where he was regularly walked, so it seems like he was trying to find his way home.

Thoughts are with Blade's family, and Blade's brother Axel.

Sadly Admin had a phone call from a railway worker who had seen a poster...he said a dog matching that description was found on the line wearing a black harness. Owner has been notified.

Hi all. Catherine Calle-calatayud has approx 4000 leaflets and 500 posters all that need to be out there this weekend if possible. Can anyone spare even an hour to help? All areas of Blackpool now need to be covered, further away from Stanley park. Just contact Catherine 07941770423 to get posters and leaflets. I'll be out there all day Sunday with catherine and Axel if anyone wants to join us doing door drops and posterin as we go X

Blade was sighted last Sunday, the day he went missing. Copied from his FB group:

Had a phone call today that blade was seen on Sunday tea time running past St Marys, St Walburgers road, across the roads, he was not injured and was so close to home but a man says traffic slowed and somebody on a motorbike could be ped with a box on the back stopped to try catch blade.. those who know blade know he is a very obedient dog it is possible this person has him we are going to poster layton tomorrow as the biker was heading in that direction, no body knows wether he has blade or not but it's our best bet! Let's find him and we might find blade as I'm certain he would of found his way home from there already! thanks again for your help xx
