- Other Info Meg is a very nervous black and white rescue Border Collie bitch. Lost at 10.15 this morning. The 5 metre expanding lead is trailing behind her, scaring her into thinking she's being chased. She is extremely timid, and prone to anxiety attacks. She is of slight build and at 14 kgs looks thin and underweight. She will do most things well if the lead is used gently, but she finds making decisions herself, very stressful and will panic . She is wearing a collar with contact details. She is in season.

- "Thank you for the comfort and support that your service gave to me whilst Meg was missing. I was very grateful that you were here or 'there' . She is fine now, and some vital lessons have been learned."

- Thank you everyone for your comments, and your concern. Thank you especially to Trisha and Gino for offering your help. Meg is my first recue dog, and has tested everything. i know about these beautiful companions. Each day I try to improve her security and her health, but my big lesson today is to attach that lead with a secondry tether to my belt. This way if she is ever startled again, and bolts away in panic, she's always attached. None of this was her fault, but it was mine for not thinking through the risks of walking her thoroughly enough. Hopefully we'll be better protected in future. Thank you everyone once again. Never give up looking, if you lose your loved one. There's always a chance .
