- "Woody was missing yesterday 3 October and found the same evening but he had lost his name and address tag from his collar so the people who found him were unable to ring us.Nevertheless he went hom with a member of staff from the local holiday camp and when I logged on to Dogs Lost early this morning after a horrendous night of worry, there was the best news in the world that Woody had been found and they were awaiting a call from me. He is now home safe and sound with his new little sprocker companion who actually gave him a hard time when he came home. The reason for the message is that I had never actually heard of Dogs Lost but when I rang 101 non emergency number they recommended your site and could not praise the work you do highly enough so obviously I logged on and registered and what a great response and a brilliant outcome. Good work Dogs Lost and I will certainly be recommending your site to anyone who has lost a dog but a good recommendation from the Police about your site. Thanks again and I will make a donation on behalf of Woody for your good work"

- Hi woody's owner here. He is now home safe and I would like to thank James of Perran Sands for looking after him overnight. Special thanks to the couple who found him on the dunes and whom I have personally thanked.
Would like to say this is the first time (and only time I hope) that I have used Dogs Lost and it is brilliant. It was recommended by personnel at 101 non emergency line and there was great response. Unfortunately Woody's name tag had probably been ripped off with blackthorn bush and therefore the couple who found him were unable to phone us but we are now addressing this. Once again, thanks you everyone for their kindness. - 2014-10-04 10:30 Gnasher - Area Co-ordinator, East Dorset

Springer spaniel? Found on Perran sands dunes tonight around 19.00. Has been taken home by me but will be back in at 8.00. Alternatively, call Perran sands holiday park (you will be given a recorded message for a mobile number) and they can contact me on my mobile. Cheers.
