Thanks everyone. Yes it's the same dog and is a German Pointer. I was at the garden centre and managed to get it to come to me and took it in my dog van to my house. Found it at 11am but took till 4:30pm to get to his owners because our lovely vets don't open till 2pm (even though they have a private house on the grounds). Once we got the telephone numbers we got answer phones on both numbers. Still he had a lovely 6 hours with me and thought it was all a great adventure and the owners were very grateful ;-)

This dog was reported to us earlier via a phone call from the garden centre on Sandy Lane...described only as a gundog with a green tag on saying microchipped...we then had a call back to say the dog had been reunited with owner. We are presuming this is the same dog...
