On the 05.10.14 she was seen on Pity Me Front Street, and then headed down the dual carriage way near the Brewers Fayre pub in the Arnison Centre. She has also been seen in the Framwellgate Moor area. She is in a nervous state and, although of friendly nature, will need to be approached gently. She was last seen still wearing her green rope leader. Any information very gratefully received, thank you.

Sorry it has taken me a little while to get back. Yes, we're delighted to report that Merlin was found safe and well opposite the Brewer's Fayre pub in Pity Me about an hour and a half ago. We can't thank those who've helped enough, all the shares on social media that led to sightings were crucial in finding her. We're so relieved to be able to report such a happy ending! Thank you again!!

Great you're getting sightings. How about leaving a blanket, smothered in familiar smells (rub yourselves on it!) and maybe a BBQ nearby? Near where she was lost/where she has she been seen. Everything crossed for you. xxx

Hello again, thanks very much to everyone who has shared and commented.

The latest update on Merlin, is that she was seen at around just after 12 this afternoon near the Pulman Garage on Abbey Road in Pity Me. She then ran behind the units next to the Pulman Garage. We haven't seen her since, but as she is getting so close to the place she was lost, we believe that at moment Pity Me seems to be the most likely place to find her. However, she could, of course, run off again to other areas (Framwellgate Moor, Newton Hall etc) so if you could keep your eyes open there too, that would be great thanks.
