This is so sad. Surely if the owners didn't report her missing, they obviously weren't that worried. Hope that she stays safe, gets chipped, and looked after well. She looks lovely and certainly deserves it xxxx

I'm sure with plenty of support owners will realise the joys of having a Spaniel, she looks very timid bless her

Winnie as we now know her name to be was lost last Thursday at Alum Chine. She wasn't reported missing to the warden but had been seen over the last few evenings round the chine.
Helpers have been out searching and trying to capture her and thankfully today after a lot of encouragement (and sausages) was captured by Helper Kimberley Bell and local dog boarder Yasmine who spent much of today gaining her trust. Kimberley called her owner and they met up.
As yet the owner is undecided whether they want her back as find her too much of a handful so she is currently safe in foster care

I'm free all evening if help needed. I live near Ringwood so it will take about 30 mins to get there.....I've got lots of homemade dog treats and both mackerel and sardines. Has anyone spoken to Michelle, the East Dorset dog warden?
