Just brilliant news. Luckily he was found when they did a group search. His sister dog sniffed him out :)
Welcome home, stay safe now.

Cant tell you how delighted I am, he is such a lovely little chap and what a nightmare for you. I couldnt think he would have gone far from you so feared he may have been stolen but this is the best news ever. Big supper tonight Murphy!!

Wonderful news, he's been found. Wedged down a crack between two houses! Stuck there for 48 hours but seems to be safe and sound and not too traumatised.

Two things I've learned.

One, never give up hope

Two, how bloody wonderful everyone is when the chips are down - especially the dog lovers who run dogs lost. Thank you to everyone who helped and searched and sent messages of support. Donation to dogs lost is on its way.

I have been to the Barlef Sheaf and regrettably the strange couple who were in there are in fact residents of the village so that knocks them out.

Its at a different angle and I don't think it is your boy but can you just make sure please?

FrancesF is so right...You need as many posters and coverage as you can get. Both the Guardian and West Britain did a write up for our girl when she was stolen so its worth asking them too.

Am over Monday for Pup will put posters up for your lad too if he isn't home....

I am fairly sure this one isn't him but...x

I am going up to the Barley Sheaf shortly to enquire is the bar maid can recall anything, it would be too good to be true for this couple to have paid with a credit card? I have shared a pretty good description of this couple with one of my companions who was actually seated facing them, he may be able to add a little more. If you report this to the police I would be happy to provide a description of this couple but right now dont feel comfortable to put it on this(or any other internet) site.

This needs lots and lots of postering, advertise in the Countrymans Weekly ASAP, if you are able offer a reward equal to what a low life might get selling a working cocking at the start of the shooting season. Make enquiries in all the pubs between here and St Austell about anyone in last night with a black cocker which they may have tried to sell. Keep as it make him too hot to handle.

I am the lady with the English Setter and labrador, I am sorry I couldnt help search last night I have a health issue which is energy limited and associated with getting cold so staying out later last night was an option for me. Did you lose him own in Gorran Haven? Are there any CCTV camers own there, have your asked around to see if anyone saw a person or persons of "dubious character" in the village in the middle of the afternoon. I have mentioned him on the BarleySheaf FB page and my own. There were two complete strangers (to me) in the Barley Sheaf yesterday afternoon, I will make enquiries as to whether anyone knows who they were. I will keep my eyes open until you find him. I am so sorry this has happned to you. There are so many careless dog owners out there and you not a member of those numbers.
