- Yes thats him, so glad someone has managed to get him. Been running around for weeks now! & I kept checking my shed to see if he'd come back. I'll make a post on 76803.

- Oh really Nessy? I was really hoping she/he had gone home, yes very very fast that's why I couldnt get it on a lead. It's about 9 miles Happiness. Nessy it took shelter in my shed for 2 nights so might be sleeping somewhere, if you find out where or if someone catches it I can pass wardens number on? She's around until 8-8.30 each evening.

- Hopefully the wee dog will make its way back to the shed it was sleeping in and then it will be caught , is earls Barton far from goldings where it already was xxxx has warden been informed x

- Hi this dog is now in Earls barton , and has been since Friday , several people have tried to catch, but he/she is very fast. It seems to be everywhere plenty of sighting but no luck with getting and keeping safe as no road sense :(
- 2014-10-17 08:55 babyxxd
- Yeah agree with Happiness , my little one sill hasn't come back and haven't seen it running around the culdesac since the couple I spoke to said they saw it go near the gate of the potential owner that denies owning it... I'll let you know if it does come back as will be calling warden straight away and try to get it to a shelter then in a safe & loving home!

- Nicki not nicking, stupid phone spell check!
- 2014-10-16 15:01 babyxxd
- Sorry Nicking it's not Todd. I had the warden ring when I got home just after pulling into the culdesac and seeing the dog running round the other side (where I saw it a few days before my lean to was its bed), told the warden who said to keep her number and call if s/he comes back. I knocked on some doors at the other end of the culdesac and was told about someone opposite them who owns the dog but let's it out then it comes back whenever (& the wife said she saw the dog just run behind there car in front of the garden gate) , I knock on that door and the woman denies all knowledge of owning any dogs?!? Have told the warden and even with the rain last night I didn't have a visitor so assume it was hers & she's let it back in! But if it comes back and stays I'll call the warden to collect it as deserves a lovely home and not to be so scared of people!

- Can we check if Todd from Lancashire ..cannot see the legs to see it's markings? Very simular in the face

- Well done for getting someone to come out. Good luck, just hope they are able to get him/her and it doesn't frighten him/her away for good.

- Fantastic that's great you have kept this poor wee dog safe xxxxx
- 2014-10-15 11:21 babyxxd
- Not any of those I'm afraid, has a full tail with pointy dark ears and a light tan coat. The warden (a very nice sounding lady called Naomi... not like the dog catcher on Lady and the Tramp) is coming over when I finish work today. Northampton Borough Council were useless and told me unless I can get it on a lead they wont send the warden, I got in touch with the kennels the council uses and they rang the warden instead! I can cover the front of the lean to while she gets the poor little thing. x

- Poor little thing must be scared and/or been mistreated. I think as time goes on you will probably gain his/her trust and be able to get closer. Is there anyone with a trap nearby that will go in your lean to?. Again good luck x

- I've been in touch with animals in needs local shelter and will be calling the council's dog warden, even with a dog biscuit he/she won't come out to be picked up or even touched to be able to get it to a vet. The possible owner unfortunately wasn't the right one :( . I'll keep checking on here for posts don't worry. X

- Can someone message the finder direct with information she should obtain from 'claimants' in case she is busy and doesn't look on here? x
- 2014-10-14 14:31 #stoppettheft
- Pleeeez take him to a vet to be checked out for a microchip - pleeeez ask for photos of dog with the person claiming to be the owner & also any Vet vaccine cards etc. - also proof of address for the 'claimant' - plzzz be careful
- 2014-10-14 11:48 Unknown
- babyxxd just be careful of people claiming to be owners, you never know their intentions. Good luck.
- 2014-10-14 11:17 babyxxd
- Thanks very much for the help, had someone email after seeing him/her on here that might be the owner - will keep you informed. Call it a bike shed but its just a lean to on the side of the side, if she/he's there after work will try and find something long and high enough to cover the front and then go to a shelter. Have left messages with shelters this morning :)

- Dear little soul. Hope he/she has an owner xx Well done for looking out for him/her. Is there no way of trapping him/her in the shed once in it. Last edited: 2014-10-14 09:59:30

- I'll give them a ring today, slightly unsure how they'd catch him as even when I put a bowl of food down he/she runs. Was there about 6.00 this morning when I refilled the bowls but then when left for school/work it had gone. Will see what warden/shelters say today then sort it out when home :)
- 2014-10-14 08:34 Happiness yorkie lover xxx
- But they will at least scan for a microchip the poor wee thing must be terrified x if microchipped it will get home x we'll done though for keeping him/her safe but it can't live in your shed and it certainly can't be left to roam the streets x
- 2014-10-14 06:42 babyxxd
- Timmy Mummy unfortunately I can't let him in, I've got 2 dogs of my own that wouldn't be too pleased especially when leave them together while at work. Have given a bowl of food and water last night and put another blanket out, the shed/lean to is quite full so s/he isn't getting the wind blowing through.
Happiness i am going to contact local shelter today as only thing about the warden is possibility of after 7 days s/he may be put down instead of re homed which I'd rather avoid & if I can't get it on a lead or secure the council/warden said in past when found a dog they won't come out. - 2014-10-13 21:20 Timmy's Mummy
- Babyxxd Do you think you could let him in the house? He looks so cold and fed up. Have you given him any food and water? x
- 2014-10-13 20:42 Happiness yorkie lover xxx
