- So sorry to read that, thinking of you all at this sad time
- 2014-10-28 20:01 Julie Dogs
- I have tweeted to locals who are all so sad, but am mindful not to upset Mandy and her family any more by images of Margo popping up in her news feed. I have also asked the RTT to update their news article so all those who were also looking know x

- Such sad news. Did circulate a lot to locals on twitter and the news article. She looks adorable.

- I am so very sorry to read this news. I looked in the bracken for an hour and a half yesterday as my gut feeling was she was still in the park. My heart goes out to Mandy and her family but I hope that they can take some comfort they have found Margo and that they at least have some form of closure and an end to the awful "not knowing" where she was. Run free dear Margo at Rainbow Bridge. My beloved Weimaraner is waiting to play.

- I have just had a distressing call from Mandy, to say Margo has sadly been found today in Bushy Park. Run free Margo over Rainbow Bridge. Thank you to everybody for all your help and in so many ways. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the whole family at this difficult time.

- Hi Mandy, my previous post was 'moderated' as I made reference to a company that helped me find my dog who was lost for several days in the Twickenham/Hounslow area back in August. I will try and connect with you via Facebook instead. Have you thought about any CCTV that maybe available in the area either through homeowners or covering the park gates I.e. The palace end. Some local residents and a shop owner helped me by viewing their CCTV when they knew a reward was available and it did help me find out what direction my dog bolted in at the time he went missing. The feeling of just simply not knowing is excruciating, I check for Margo updates daily and I'm so sorry she has not been found yet. Somebody referred to below about a methodical search of the Park and coordinating a large group to do this at the same time, I would gladly help and bring friends with me if you wanted to organise to at least help with that 'not knowing' x
- 2014-10-24 18:42 Julie Dogs
- Mandy, have you informed the microchip company that she is missing as they will put a flag on her record (which is important in case she is taken to a vet and anyone pretends her chip isn't up to date). I am going to Bushy Park tomorrow and will walk the area where she went missing. I do hope you have some positive news soon. x

- i look at Margo's page every day hoping for good news, have been away from Teddington for the past week, back soon. So sorry that your huge efforts to get her back have not been successful so far, but hoping for a good result soon.

- Margo's reward went out in the Richmond and Twickenham Times today. Thank you Julie for assisting me with your relevant contacts via twitter x

- Hi Mandy,
I am so sorry to hear that. I did write the story up last week, but our editor was unfortunately unable to find space in the paper. I will hassle him again about including the story and photos.
Kind regards,
George
This is the answer from the paper Julie. Not really satisfactory.
- 2014-10-21 16:08 Mandy Pitcher
- I emailed the contact earlier at the paper with regards to the reward. Waiting to hear. Thanks Julie. Will let you know the answer! x

- Thanks Mandy. I saw your poster with the map on in Teddington High Street yesterday and now know exactly where you were. I had been looking in the large stretch of bracken on the opposite side of the stream and on the other side of Chestnut Ave (towards Teddington Gate). Have you asked the Richmond & Twickenham Times to run the story & photo of Margo in this week's paper & online site to raise more awareness? As our local paper they really should. willing good news soon x
- 2014-10-21 08:25 Mandy Pitcher
- Thank you for your post. The new reward posters have the date that she went missing but I do understand what you are saying. So Julie, that was where I was planning to walk with the gardens on the left and the stream on the right but there were some large stags so I walked over the bridge and started to walk towards the other large stretch of grass with the bracken on the left and in the distance the Diana Fountain is visible. Make sense. So to he right of the stream. If you were to look behind you you have the large white house in the distance. I have returned there along with many others going through the bracken there but obviously nothing. I am happy to meet you to show you exactly where it was if it isn't clear.xx

- Park Lane Stables have tweeted that they will look everyday whilst riding.
- 2014-10-20 08:37 Jelly Tots
- I am very happy to help with an organised sweep of the bracken, so count me in. Just give a time and date. Please also let me know where would be helpful for more posters. I am emailing it to my friends in the area and asking them to put one up at work and a couple in their cars. Nobody can remove them from your car!!!

- Dear Mandy, I really feel for you and last Christmas was helping another family whose dog went missing in Crane Park. We found posters were taken down and it turned out it was over zealous Richmond Council contractors who assumed they had been up for a while. We promised to ensure they were eventually taken down and the Council agreed to leave them, so we laminated them and tied them with wire. They will however be removed at bus stops as TFL Policy doesn't allow them. I wonder if you dated the posters and put on them "please leave for a week" that may help? Disappointed RTT newspaper didn't include any mention this week but I and many others are continuing to tweet. If you want to do an organised "sweep" of bracken areas in the park in the area she went missing, I and I am sure many others will come along to help. When you lost sight of her, were you walking along the stretch with the Woodland Gardens on your left and the stream on your right? I am having difficulty picturing where you were. Try to stay hopeful. There are so many people looking for Margo and you are both in our thoughts. xx

- Its very sad to see that the notices are being removed. I have just been to Blandford Gate to replace one. I put them in bus shelters and probably wasn't allowed to do that and every single one has been taken done. Sad that local shops are already taking them down too. Amanda, Battersea have been contacted and I will now contact Clements. Thank you.

- So sorry you haven't found Margo yet but you've certainly done everything you can to publicise her disappearance and to find her. Hoping very much that you are reunited soon. Have been keeping an eye out for her in Bushy Park and Teddington area, noticed this morning that the notices on the Teddington Gate had been removed, very sad that people would do this and make hoax calls.
Fingers crossed for good news soon. - 2014-10-18 20:15 Amanda
- Have you contacted Battersea Mandy or the contractor Clements Environmental, on 01932 425 718, they pick up stray dogs in the Richmond Borough.
- 2014-10-18 16:45 Mandy Pitcher
- Yes it was the parks police. Stables warned. New posters in park with reward offered. Sadly many people taking posters down in my local area of Teddington and Hampton Hill. Many calls which are a hoax but dog lost did warn me over this.

- Was it the Parks' Police Mandy? Good news that they are on the case though. Have you warned the stables too? Will you be renewing the posters to show the reward?
- 2014-10-16 17:48 Mandy Pitcher
- Was called by Police today with possible siting next to Teddington Gate. They investigated and I came along but nothing. Have had other calls too but after pursuing it was a look alike. There are many that look like her in the park including her sister who is the double of her. We are now offering a large reward for her safe return home.
- 2014-10-16 12:25 Mandy Pitcher
- Looking at existing comments. The woodland gardens have ben checked. Hampton Court Palace, calling her name around houses close to the park, East Molesey area, home park, tow path along the river, restaurants and pubs in Hampton Court...
- 2014-10-16 10:54 Mandy Pitcher
- Hello everybody this is Mandy Margo's owner. I wanted to update you all to say that there was a possible siting at Hampton Court Gate on Tues at 8.00am. We spoke to builders there and one stated that it was her and another wasn't so sure. 100's have searched the park high and low and we have been to surrounding areas outside the park. Posters are everywhere throughout Teddington, Richmond, Kingston, Hampton Court etc... making more aware. I will inform people to check this page regularly as at the moment I have been communicating through twitter and facebook and it is becoming overwhelming as I am unable to deal with it all. Everyone has been incredible and I am truly touched but my phone has not stopped and I can't be pro active with it ringing constantly. Any news I will update immediately. Thank you so much everyone.

- The trackers are on long lines so the deer can be avoided if necessary ? I've been walking my dogs in park since I was a child and do remember about 17 years ago a tracker successfully finding a dog that had been lost and evasive in park over a week. I'm not sure if parks police would allow these days ?
- 2014-10-15 22:11 Julie Dogs
- Good idea PC but Bushy Park has very large deer herds which are in the middle of rutting & are running all over the park. The stags are very aggressive & will chase after humans & dogs who get too close to their hareems so they could go after the tracker dog. The evening deer cull will be starting soon too.. I wonder what help or advice the Park Rangers are giving? Has the possible sighting of Margo by Hampton Gate been substantiated? I will look in the Park tomorrow.. - Please consider getting professional tracker dogs in.. The park is massive with loads of hiding places.
There are several companies with good success rates. I will post a link in a new comment box so admin can remove if it's not allowed.
Hope you find her soon . - 2014-10-15 19:38 Julie Dogs
- Was the sighting a definite sighting or could this have been another cocker running ahead of owner? The bracken is still very dense so how feasible is it that she could be in there somewhere? I will try to go to park tomorrow and will look around the white bridge area (across Chestnut Avenue) and in the thick bracken there.
- 2014-10-15 12:46 Pearl46
- Has the information centre and cafe been informed, where the car park is,just inside the Woodland Gardens and could a notice be put up somewhere there?
- 2014-10-15 08:20 MJ
- It might also be worth checking, if not already done, all private gardens that back onto Bushy Park, where Margo might have got into, trying to get home, but unable to get out, including the large school's garden on Hampton Green?
- 2014-10-15 08:02 MrsGray
- Has anyone tried Hampton court gardens? Or spoken with the gardener a there? I know there are a few pergulars and things in there so she might have sought shelter out if the rain. Unfortunately my car is in for MOT today so am unable to get over again but it was just a thought. She was spotted at Hampton court gates yesterday morning so could of easily gone across the road or even straight up towards Kingston and the skate park etc.. I'm h&m going to put posters up today as can't do much else without a car
- 2014-10-14 19:52 Julie Dogs
- I've put posters up on gates for another lost dog in the past. Are park rangers aware & are people looking in the Woodland Gardens too incase she in there? Willing her to be found safely soon.
- 2014-10-14 19:19 Rachel
- Walked all over Bushy this morning but no sign. A lady with a Munsterlander was telling people about Margo and asking them to keep an eye out for her. Are you allowed to put posters up in Bushy Park, maybe you already have this afternoon. So sorry you haven't found her yet, will be out in Bushy again tomorrow morning and look again. hope so much you find her soon.
- 2014-10-14 15:11 MrsGray
- She was near woodland gardens when she ran, she was possibly seen around 7am today at Hampton court gates. Dog wardens have been informed and have not found her, she also knows the area around hurst park and along that stretch of river. We have searched all along there twice today and have had no luck. Fingers crossed we find her soon !
- 2014-10-14 08:02 Rachel
- will be in Bushy Park shortly and will be looking for Margo. Which area is she usually walked in, which side of Chestnut Avenue ?

- Alerts should cover TW1 Twickenham - only a couple of miles away & loads of local dog walkers go to Bushy Park. I have been re-tweeting since I heard. Could someone have taken her to a vet or could she try to find her way home? Stags so dangerous at this time. Willing her to be found safely.
