Sad news. Just spoken to owner. She had a call from council, Rufus involved in RTA, his body was found at the side of the road. She has just gone to Witney to collect his body x

have spoken to owner. She lives Chipping Norton, dog disappeared on a walk near Rollright Stones - chased a pheasant. It was with another spaniel but the other one came back. She has contacted some local vets, dog warden, done some leafleting but unable to put up posters as no laminator. She was told someone had seen Rufus hit by a black car but had no luck with the police. Advised contact vets further afield as sometimes people are unaware of nearest vets. Also given contacts for local hunts - Heythrop & Warwickshire to see if they can circulate details via email/website to local landowners and farmers. I have contact at Warks Hunt so will email details to them. I can print & laminate some posters and put up locally in the morning. Owner has my contact details.

Hi, I live locally and have friends in Rollright. Does anyone know where he went missing from - garden, out on a walk? What about posters? They really do work. Contact local hunt - they can contact local landowners/farmers via email/website. Rollright is very very rural. You must get the word out very quickly so people can look out for him. Is anyone organising a search?
