RIP to Diesel. At least there is some consolation in the way in which he began his journey to the Rainbow Bridge - he sounded like he chose a beautiful spot to pass over. Remember all the good times with him - like when he first came home, his first walk and all the love he gave to you all.

I am heartbroken to read this, his owners must be devastated. The only good thing is that they know what happened and aren't left to wonder....I'm so very sorry.

I am sooo very sorry for your Loss & have shed a few Tears of my own for Him :(
Having a Weim myself, the loss of Diesel is even more so heartbreaking.
I cannot imagine how you are all feeling at this moment but it seems a lovely place where Diesel came to rest his lovely head & close his eyes for the final time.

It is with a heavy heart, and very mixed emotions, that I report back to you all this evening. DIESEL has been found but his journey here has ended and he is now out of pain and running free at Rainbow Bridge.

Lesley and I were walking through a nature area this afternoon when Lesley spotted Diesel lying next to a lake, in a sheltered spot beneath a tree and against the reeds. He looked very peaceful and at rest and is now at home with his family.

My sincerest condolences go out to Chris and Lesley and I hope that the happy memories that they have of Diesel will help to soothe their grief and bring them peace.

Thanks from Diesel's family and from myself are extended to you all for helping in the search, for sharing, and for commenting with words of support. We have valued your contribution to the search for Diesel so much and it has played a massive role in helping Diesel's family during this difficult time. Thank you all xx

No sightings of Diesel. The vet has confirmed that his owners are right to be concerned regarding his health. If anyone has experience of dogs leaving their "pack" at the end could they please message me on FB. We are determined to find him xx

Contact made with Diesels owner. I'm sending info sheets and will be heading out to help in the search. Diesel has been at the vets, on a drip, after suffering a prolonged illness. He was collected yesterday, by his owners, but was very uncomfortable and unsettled. He was let out for a loo break at midnight and vanished. Owners are extremely concerned for him and have searched non stop ever since he went missing.

No contact number for owner but have left mine with the DW and asked them to pass it on. I am heading over to have a look for Diesel and chat to some of the contacts I made when we were looking for Sophia in the same area.
