Sharon, just to let you know that I am still thinking of you and so hoping that Pixie will turn up soon. Don't lose heart, recent events on doglost do show that some turn up after many months or even years so keep looking. I am many miles from you but spend lots of time on the internet and am still trying to help you as much as I am able. All the best HazelLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi Sharon, so sorry that your Pixie is still not at home with you. I cannot understand how no-one hasn't seen her or knows of her whereabnouts. I thimk someone must have taken her in? I will pray that you have her returned to you for christmas. Don't loose heart, stay positive. My mother has a dog exactly like your Pixie called Scamps. He was kicked out of the house to defend for himself, dog warden signed him over to her, after the owners refused to pay to collect him. They just couldn't be bothered! Still, my thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. xxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Sharon, I am not sure whether you have been in contact with the local newspapers. Call the newsdesk and emphasise how tiny Pixie is and if you have any children, how devasted they are at her disappearance. You will need to email her pic over to them too.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Thanks, Sharon. In addition to getting as many posters up in the area, concentrate on people who are out and about all the time: postmen/binmen/milkmen/cabbies/bus drivers/delivery people. Go to the local depots/offices and make sure they all have a poster. I assume you have all the obvvious animal-related places covered. Call the local newspaper - stress how tiny she is - and email all the presenters at the BBC local station: firstname.lastname@bbc.co.uk.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Pixie is one the all time cutest dogs that I have ever seen! This little poppet is bound to be picked up by someone, so important poster as widely as possible. Ask your local postman if s/he will deliver posters, cab drivers and binmen. Also poster as many local vets, obedience clubs and pubs as you can. Local papers are also a good way raising awareness of the fact that she is missing. Also worth trying local radio and breed rescue (she does look like 100% Yorkie in the photo). Worth checking www.epupz.co.uk, as it lists adult and puppies for sale, with and without KC papers. Hope she is home very soonxxxxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
