This is so awful. Poor litte Izzy. I am so glad she was found by some kind rail workers who took the time to notify her loving owners. This isnot always the case and they deserve some praise for doing this. Poor owners. What a dreadful outcome. God bless you Izzy, you are safe now little one, nothing can hurt you again. You have earnt your little wings. In time may your owners know peace. One day you will be togeter again, forever. You are found sweetheart, you can rest in peace. xxx

Sad news from Andy

We have been informed today by some rail workers that they found izzy's body on the railway near Chelmsford. They have said she was hit by a train and appears this happened a long time ago. They have identified her by her collar and tag.
Thank you so much for everything you've done to help us, we are so grateful x

Well done all. She has survived well it seems, with a few sightings so this is a hardy little girl. She could well still be ou there being elusive. I would still get some more posters up. I will amend to show still missing and sighted here recently, so wherever you put them in her sighting areas it will be correct. Just so people know she is still out there and don't think its an old poster.

Thank you for bringing the Swansea dog to our attention.

CopperM I have seen a couple of black dogs in Beaulieu Park are when I have been out but we are not going to discount the sightings. I am going out this afternoon in the area again to flyer.

Can you find out from your friend what type of collar her dog wears when it's out on a walk please as that would help. I did see a little black pup wearing a red coat there a couple of days ago x

I know that your dog has been missing a while now but please if you can, look at South Wales lost and found pets on FB as there is a puppy/young dog looking very similar to yours been found in Cardiff and not claimed as yet. This could be Izzy as she looks very young and if clipped could look even younger. Fingers crossed x

Sorry to add a damper to hopes, but you should be aware that a friend of mine has a small black labradoodle and lives on Beaulieu Park. Could be mistaken quite easily for Izzy.

Hi does izzy wear a red collar and a tag? About 3 weeks ago I tried catching a very timid dog that looked just like this whilst in mote park,, but she was too scared and ran off into the trees. I waited to see if she'd come back but I had my 4 yr old daughter with me, who wasn't helping the situation!

I phoned the dog warden, but they said they won't try and catch a dog, they only collect ones that are contained, and I said well at least if someone rings you can say it's been spotted. The lady said that even if the owner was on the other line giving the same description they wouldn't be able to say!

I posted it on lost dogs in maidstone facebook page, I couldn't get a picture though. It was about 3wks ago.

Maybe stating the obvious but has this dog been reported to dog warden as missing? Just thought as if sightings are coming in then surely someone will report it to dog warden or police and wouldn't want her to slip through the system if microchip failed. Maybe worth notifying local schools and asking pupils to look out for her too, or a local radio appeal maybe?

A message from Izzy's owner... 'There is never a good time to lose a pet as they are part of your family. Since losing Izzy my wife has had major surgery and is now home recovering for the next 3 months.
As you can image the recovery time itself is hard enough, which makes it upsetting with no Izzy to keep you busy and to sit with in the chair.
I know there is a good chance that someone feels they are being kind and doing the right thing if they have found her, but I hope they can think about the upset and hurt it is causing us as a whole family.
Please, if you know or have any idea where izzy is, or who has her then please let us know.
Hopefully we can get her home for Christmas x'
