Well done Irene Travis. So sorry to hear that you were not given the credit that you deserve for taking care of Fronk.
Sometimes owners do not realise how lucky they are. Perhaps when the owners have had a chance to get over the shock of losing him they will realise how very lucky they were that it was you who picked him up and cared for him.
Hopefully they will now get him microchipped in case he gets lost again.
Thanks again for all the trouble you went to. Last edited: 2014-10-20 20:01:24 by Clarkey - Area Co-ordinator, East Sussex

The owner is reunited with the dog. Unfortunately she did not even say thank you and seemed to think we had taken her dog rather than looked after him when he was lost and we did everything we could to reunite him with his owner. Between 3 of us we spent several hours of our time, posting on the website, a trip to Pets at home to have him scanned (they could not find a chip) and several phone calls to the dog warden, vets and rescue centres. Fronk was cared for, fed and walked whilst in our care. It's a shame the owner almost accused us of taking him.
