Fantastic news and congratulations to Herts Police and everyone's detective work to find them. It's really encouraging that the Police are taking dog theft seriously and I am sure the wonderful work that doglost does has gone a long way in raising awareness of how important our animals are. I hope the owner of the Lab and her puppies keep them safe and take care in ensuring they have loving, forever homes.

Simply the most fantastic news.
We are able to report that following enquiries and a considerable amount of work, Fern and her litter of puppies have been recovered. As this is an on going criminal investigation we are unable at this point to give any further information.
We were however on the end of a radio as the property was entered and were thrilled to hear the words "We have found a Labrador". When it was confirmed she had seven young puppies with her, our delight was complete.
We would all like to thank the Hertfordshire Police for their quick and prompt action and are delighted for the owners of Fern and her puppies.

If you type in gumtree black labrador puppies luton you will it. Likewise if you type in freeads black labrador puppies luton. The photo for both ads shows 4 black labs looking over door. Contact names are similar but not same.
Hope this helps as not sure how to copy web link, sorry
ESSJ - Area Co-ordinator Rutland
please can you post the web link for the ads as i cannot find them. thanks
Rubybella
Both adverts in freeads and gumtree were posted yesterday. I know the dates don't tally with the age of the missing pups but I think the adverts are very suspicious!!
dreena52
It also might be worth checking with Thurrock police as they have recovered 75 stolen dogs from a traveller site, the link s on the 'lost' section, it should really be in the found.
Rubybella
Also on Gumtree - same photo, same advert but different mobile number and contact name.

Any chance area coordinator can check it out? Seems odd that only wants contact by text or mobile !
sophiesuds
Freeads 27614806 shows black lab pups with mum in lu3 listed yesterday. Call someone Murphy on mobile only. Worth checking out, as photo doesn't have to be of your pups may have downloaded. Doesn't say age of pups or anything.
